Armis is looking for an experienced Backend Team Lead that lives and breathes technology. We are looking for someone who is an exceptional manager, engineer and mentor to help build a strong and robust infrastructure, integrated with the Armis platform, to acquire network insights. You will manage, design, develop and maintain out-of-the-box modules, algorithms and extensions while working with highly talented engineers.
You will lead an amazing group of individuals who are responsible for Armis’ network data sources while executing at a fast pace. You will be an integral part of the design and development process as well as playing a major role in making critical business decisions.
The role requires excellent managerial and communication skills, along with deep technical knowledge.
What you'll do
- Lead a team of excellent backend engineers. Mentor and help them evolve and grow while achieving the company’s goals
- Be a key decision maker for technical, architectural, product and procedural issues and more
- Work hands-on in designing, developing, testing and maintaining a high performance and distributed infrastructure
- Integrate with the Armis platform and be a key player in its design and development
- Collaborate with Product Managers and other Team Leaders to plan, nurture and implement an efficient and effective development process
- Help solve complex customer issues using our solutions and platform
- Identify issues and implement solutions to complex problems in large scale backend infrastructure
- Provide technical leadership in the form of mentoring and knowledge sharing with team members
What we expect
- 6+ years experience with Python/GO/Java/C/C++
- Hands-on experience with networking concepts, traffic protocols inspection and cyber security issues
- 2+ years of experience as a leader; managing a team and leading projects from start to finish
- Experience with developing and maintaining production, enterprise level systems
- Experience with system architecture and finding creative solutions to complex problems
- Experience in dealing with performance and high scale systems
- The mentality of a team player, sense of ownership and ability to work and make decisions under pressure

- High-end tech stack, e.g. docker, K8s, DBs, cloud providers and message brokers
- Microservice architecture
- Asynchronous programming
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
