Senior Technology Training Specialist
ASSYST is seeking a Senior Technology Training Specialist to support our client project in Annapolis, MD.
Work mode: Hybrid (3 days remote and 2 days onsite)
Work Location: Annapolis, MD.
Position Summary:
The Senior Technology Training Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering training programs, user documentation, and instructional materials. This role supports both proprietary court software and advanced off-the-shelf applications (such as Microsoft Teams, Co-Pilot, OneNote, and SharePoint).
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Development & Delivery: Plan, design, and deliver hands-on, instructor-led training (in-person and virtual) using adult learning principles for individuals and group settings.
- Instructional Content Creation: Develop technical documentation (Quick Reference Cards, Quick Reference Guides, web content), video tutorials, and interactive learning modules using tools like Camtasia, Articulate 360, and Vyond.
- Project Management: Manage training projects from initiation to completion, organizing concurrent initiatives and coordinating across stakeholders to meet deadlines.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Identify user-defined technical challenges, implement effective training solutions, and uphold customer service standards with internal/external Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Reporting: Maintain clear communication with the Contract Manager regarding project plans, statuses, and updates.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (Required).
- Experience:
- 5+ years as a technology trainer specializing in proprietary and advanced off-the-shelf software (Preferred).
- 3+ years developing technical documentation and instructional materials (Preferred).
Preferred Skills & Capabilities:
- Software Expertise: Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Co-Pilot, OneNote, SharePoint).
- Technical Authoring Tools: Proficiency in Camtasia, Articulate 360, Vyond, or similar training development software.
- Core Competencies: Strong time management, multi-tasking abilities, and structured training methodologies.
