Full Stack Developer (Entry Level)

ASSYST is seeking a motivated Full Stack Developer (Entry Level) to join our growing engineering team in Sterling, VA
(Onsite). 

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience building enterprise-grade applications in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain full-stack web applications across both front-end and back-end systems.
  • Write clean, maintainable code and build reusable application components and APIs.
  • Design responsive user interfaces using modern web technologies.
  • Work with relational databases, including writing SQL queries and data modeling.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and solution design.
  • Collaborate with senior developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • 0–2 years of software development experience through internships, academic/personal projects, bootcamps, or early-career roles.
  • Knowledge of Java or .NET (C#), along with exposure to Python and Node.js.
  • Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, modern frameworks, and RESTful APIs.
  • Basic understanding of relational databases (SQL) and version control (Git).
  • Proactive problem-solving, strong communication, and eagerness to learn full-stack development.
  • Clearance Requirement: US Citizenship is required with eligibility to obtain a clearance.
