Averon Digital, a joint venture of A-TEK Inc, and Greenthreads, LLC is seeking an accomplished Part-Time Program Manager (PM) to lead the execution of a federal contract in Falls Church, VA. This role focuses on ensuring program success while providing maximum opportunities for small businesses in acquisitions, as mandated by the Small Business Act.
The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership, federal program management expertise, and direct DHA experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional seeking a flexible schedule while continuing to make a meaningful impact. Candidates must be able to work on-site in Falls Church, VA as business needs require.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the single point of accountability to the Government for all program activities.
- Lead planning, oversight, and execution of program tasks, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.
- Maintain alignment with agency mission goals while delivering on schedule and within budget.
- Act as the primary interface with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), technical leads, and client stakeholders.
- Direct and support a blended team of Averon Digital staff and partners, ensuring adherence to deliverables and performance standards.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, reporting requirements, and program documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Direct DHA experience (mandatory).
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in program/project management, including at least 2 years managing large federal IT or scientific data programs.
- Strong knowledge of government acquisition requirements and small business regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with federal procurement, FAR, and DFARS.
- Familiarity with mentor-protégé programs, strategic communications, and program support services.
- PMP or PgMP certification (or equivalent) preferred.
