Position Overview
ATLAS SP is seeking a Technical Project Manager with expertise in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity to join the Infrastructure & Cybersecurity organization.
The ideal candidate is a results-driven project management professional with a technical background who has successfully led complex IT infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives. This role will be responsible for managing the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic projects that enhance the firm’s IT resilience and cybersecurity posture. The Technical Project Manager will work closely with engineering, cybersecurity, operations, vendors, and leadership to ensure the seamless execution of projects that align with business priorities and compliance objectives. Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity projects, including timelines, resources, risks, and communications.
- Work with stakeholders to define scope, goals, success criteria, and deliverables that support business needs.
- Ensure project milestones and deliverables are completed on time and within scope and budget.
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Manage and track cybersecurity control implementations, system upgrades, cloud migrations, patching programs, and compliance-related initiatives.
- Facilitate effective communication between cross-functional teams, vendors, and business leaders.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, status updates, issue logs, and risk registers.
- Drive regular project reviews, post-mortems, and lessons-learned analyses.
- Partner with the CISO and IT leaders to ensure alignment between projects and overall technology strategy.
- Maintain compliance with internal governance frameworks and external regulatory standards.
- Implement and support tools and frameworks that improve project tracking, reporting, and automation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of professional experience managing IT and cybersecurity infrastructure projects.
- 3-5 years of professional experience as a network or security engineer.
- Strong technical foundation and ability to understand complex infrastructure and cybersecurity concepts.
- Proven track record of delivering enterprise technology initiatives in environments with strict compliance and security requirements.
- Familiarity with ITIL, project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid), and best practices.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Monday.com, Freshworks, Microsoft Project, or similar.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across functions.
- Experience with vendor coordination, contract management, and procurement processes.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Base Salary Range
$150,000-$200,000
The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed here.
