About the role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) reporting to the Director, Global HR Business Partners to support our growing workforce across North America and Latin America. This is a hands-on role that provides full-cycle Human Resources support across the Americas region (US, Canada, LATAM). The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in employee relations, labor compliance, and organizational development. 

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Partnership & Development: Collaborate with business leaders and managers to support talent strategies, workforce planning, organizational design, and leadership development. Provide coaching on performance feedback and employee engagement.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the primary HR contact for employee relations, investigations, and performance management across multiple countries, working with all levels of stakeholders (employees through C-Suite).
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Deliver a seamless onboarding experience and manage offboarding processes with an emphasis on culture, compliance, and retention.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with labor laws across the Americas, maintaining accurate records and escalating risks as needed.
  • Payroll & Benefits Administration: Support payroll updates, 401(k) administration, and day-to-day benefits management; liaise with vendors and ensure employee inquiries are resolved promptly. Must be knowledgeable in common North American benefits, including healthcare, retirement plans, and statutory requirements.
  • HRIS Management (BambooHR): Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in BambooHR; ensure data integrity, generate reports, and support broader reporting needs.
  • HR Reporting & Analytics: Use HR metrics to identify trends, support decision-making, and recommend improvements. Must be comfortable pulling and analyzing data, with strong Excel skills.
  • Project Leadership: Lead or contribute to regional and global HR projects, including engagement, DEI, and change management initiatives.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (advanced degree or certification preferred).
  • 4+ years in HRBP or Generalist roles with strong experience across both North America and LATAM.
  • 4+ years’ experience with North American employment practices, and HR compliance requirements.
  • 4+ years using HRIS systems (BambooHR), analytics platforms, and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI) tools.
  • In-depth understanding of LATAM labor laws.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required; Portuguese is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior payroll experience is a plus.
