POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading the overall downstream marketing efforts including, but not limited to, systematically assessing market potential for AtriCure therapies in Japan and leading the development and execution of marketing campaigns, product launch planning, KOL engagement and other related activities. The successful candidate must have a broad scope of experiences in leading, developing and executing strategy across diverse channels and is experienced in evaluation and implementation of modern marketing capabilities.
Downstream Marketing
Development and Execution Country Marketing Plan:
- Collaborate across internal and external stakeholders to develop Marketing plans, ensure execution and tracking of activities.
Congress/Campaign/Program Execution with Strong ‘Call to Action’ and Results
- Be responsible for planning and execution of Congresses (Country/regional, Provincial/State level) as well as development and/or execution of Global and Local Campaigns
- Determine opportunities in the local market to strengthen our brand and better ROI on campaigns/congresses
- Be a champion for the ‘End-to-End’ process of therapy adoption, from ‘Awareness to Trial to Repeat’ through tighter collaboration with Training & Education and monitoring progress v. expected adoption once centers are trained
Establish and Execute ‘Best-in-Class’ Product Launch Process
- Lead the development and implementation of proactive product launch plans, leveraging global product launch best practices and partnering with Marketing Director, and Country/Regional leaders
- Optimize the near-term opportunities for effective product (re) launch execution in Japan and launch planning for upcoming product approvals.
Demand planning/forecasting:
- Work with the Marketing Director and global supply chain partners to establish and execute a forecasting/demand planning process.
KOL Engagement:
- Lead the development and implementation multi-tier KOL strategy and planning, leveraging global best practices and partnering with Marketing Director and other global stakeholders.
Product Management – Left Atrial Appendage Management (LAAM)
- Be the subject matter expert behind LAAM segment in Japan.
- Leverage global resources to localize content that can be tailored and adopted across the region.
- Support product launches across APGC for LAAM
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful commercial/marketing experience within medical device/medical technology environment.
- Significant experience in developing and executing marketing strategies
- Thrives on ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, connected, cross functional sales and marketing environment
- Ability to develop and maintain strong and productive relationship with international, internal, and external customers and vendors
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese & English
- Ability to travel approximately at 50%
