Job Description
Attain Partners is seeking a highly experienced Informatica MDM Architect & Lead to drive the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) solutions. This role will be responsible for establishing scalable, governed, and AI-ready data foundations across complex client ecosystems. As a leader within our Data Services & Analytics practice, you will partner with executive stakeholders to define MDM strategy, architect Informatica-based solutions (IDMC, MDM SaaS, Data Quality, Data Governance), and lead delivery teams across customer, product, and vendor mastering initiatives. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and hands-on architect who thrives at the intersection of data governance, integration, and AI enablement, and is passionate about building high-performing teams and delivering measurable business outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
- MDM Architecture & Strategy
- Lead the end-to-end architecture of Informatica MDM solutions (Customer 360, Product 360, Supplier 360)
- Design scalable data models, match/merge rules, hierarchies, survivorship, and stewardship workflows
- Define enterprise MDM strategy aligned to data governance, analytics, and AI readiness
- Establish architecture patterns integrating MDM with data warehouses, data lakes, and AI platforms
- Client Advisory & Leadership
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to define MDM vision, roadmap, and business case
- Lead workshops to gather requirements and translate into source-to-target mappings and solution designs
- Provide thought leadership on data quality, governance, and AI-ready data ecosystems
- Act as a trusted advisor to CDOs, CIOs, and Data Governance leaders
- Delivery & Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor teams of MDM developers, data engineers, and analysts
- Ability to build using Informatica IDMC (MDM SaaS, CDQ, CDI, C360)
- Drive best practices across data quality, metadata, lineage, and governance
- Ensure high-quality delivery of architecture artifacts, documentation, and testing strategies
- Integration & Data Ecosystem Enablement
- Architect integrations between MDM and enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, HCM, Data Platforms)
- Define patterns for real-time APIs, batch ETL, and event-driven architectures
- Align MDM with platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, Snowflake and Databricks
- AI & Data Readiness
- Enable MDM as the foundation for AI, analytics, and machine learning use cases
- Design governed, trusted datasets for downstream consumption
- Support clients in building AI-ready data ecosystems through strong master data foundations
Required Skills
- Deep expertise in Informatica MDM (IDMC / MDM SaaS / Customer 360 / Product 360)
- Strong experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ/CDQ) and Data Governance
- Advanced knowledge of data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical)
- Experience designing match/merge, survivorship, and hierarchy management frameworks
- Strong understanding of integration patterns (ETL, APIs, streaming)
- Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS)
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end MDM implementations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desired Skills
- Experience with Boomi Platform, MuleSoft, or other iPaaS solutions
- Familiarity with Informatica CDI (Cloud Data Integration)
- Experience in Higher Education, Nonprofit, Healthcare, or Financial Services
- Exposure to AI/ML use cases and data preparation pipelines
- Knowledge of data cataloging, metadata management, and lineage tools
- Experience building Data Governance frameworks and operating models

Attain Partners is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The individual base salary for this position is unique to each candidate and will be commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

Salary Range
$150,000 - $170,000 USD
