Lead Product Manager, Onsite Performance
About the Role
This is one of the most exciting zero-to-one bets we're making at Attentive — and we want someone who's energized by that.
Our Onsite Growth team owns the highest-impact layer of the retention marketing funnel: the onsite experiences — pop-ups, banners, sign-up units — that determine whether brands can message their customers at all. The team has built a world-class list growth engine, and more recently shipped AI Grow, our machine learning-driven product that dynamically optimizes when and how signup experiences are shown. That shift — from brands manually controlling their onsite experiences to trusting Attentive to optimize them — was a significant milestone. It proved we can drive better performance and earn deeper control over the onsite channel.
Now, that trust unlocks a much bigger opportunity. As a Lead PM on this team, you won't just be iterating on what exists — you'll be defining the next frontier. As brands grow comfortable letting us optimize their onsite experiences, the natural extension is to go beyond list growth and start improving their onsite performance holistically. That means enabling marketers to dynamically surface the right offer to the right user, personalizing experiences based on where someone came from and what they're likely to do next, and connecting onsite engagement directly to post-click experiences. In short: moving from "we help you grow your subscriber list" to "we help you improve your entire onsite performance."
This is a rare opportunity to do foundational zero-to-one work — with real risk and real upside — while leveraging Attentive's existing distribution, customer relationships, and AI infrastructure. You’ll start with fast, scrappy MVPs with a small set of partners, before scaling across our enterprise base. If you execute well, you'll be building a major new business line with significant engineering investment behind it, and a clear path to Principal-level ownership as this evolves into a core product line.
The market timing is right. Competitors are moving into onsite experiences, but most are offering basic tooling — here's a box, put what you want in it. We have the opportunity to build something fundamentally different: a performance-driven product that uses AI to optimize the full onsite experience, not just decorate it. We're looking for someone able to ship quickly with limited structure while forming a strong point of view on where the product should go.
Success in this role means demonstrating measurable lift in onsite conversion and revenue, and scaling adoption across enterprise customers.
What You’ll Accomplish
- Own a new product area end-to-end, from initial concept through scaled adoption across Attentive’s platform
- Identify a high-impact wedge, ship MVPs quickly, and evolve into a multi-year strategy for expanding Attentive's onsite presence beyond list growth and into full-funnel onsite optimization; initial focus areas may include post-click personalization, dynamic onsite offers, or landing page optimization.
- Build the next generation of AI-powered onsite decisioning — using real-time signals and machine learning to automatically make decisions brands traditionally configure manually
- Partner with Data Science to define the roadmap for ML-driven optimization and experimentation (A/B, MAB) that maximizes conversion across the full onsite journey
- Translate early customer signals and market signals into crisp, prioritized roadmaps — operating effectively with ambiguous inputs and imperfect data
- Develop frameworks to measure customer adoption, performance lift, and trust at each stage of the zero-to-one journey
- Drive adoption by partnering with GTM to bring new capabilities to market and prove customer value
Your Expertise
- 7+ years of Product Management experience, with a track record of owning and scaling complex, high-impact products
- Experience setting product direction across teams or functions, and driving alignment in ambiguous environments
- Comfortable working across backend decisioning systems and frontend experience surfaces; you can reason about both technical architecture and the end-user experience
- Comfortable partnering with Data Science and ML teams — setting goals, interpreting model outputs, and translating performance into roadmap decisions
- Highly analytical and hypothesis-driven; able to make decisions with imperfect data and iterate quickly
- Proven ability to craft compelling product narratives and enable GTM success
- Strong bias toward action—you unblock, simplify, and drive products from concept to launch

- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $205,600 - $257,000 annually + equity + benefits
- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location
