Essential Functions
- Direct and support project teams on assigned tasks; provide technical guidance and recommend/implement client-requested design changes.
- Serve as a liaison with clients, EPCs, vendors, and regulators; respond to inquiries and communicate scope, status, and risks.

- Develop and own pipeline basis-of-design and design criteria including design pressures/temperatures, route constraints, constructability considerations, and material selection.
- Produce and review key deliverables such as:
- Alignment sheets / plan & profile, route exhibits, typical details, and construction drawings
- Pipeline material specifications, line lists, tie-in packages, and piping/pipeline data sheets
- Crossings and special designs (HDD, bored crossings, road/rail/water crossings)
- Valves, pigging facilities, scraper traps, and appurtenance designs
- Support permitting and stakeholder coordination by providing technical inputs for environmental, land, and regulatory teams (easements, constructability constraints, route alternatives).
- Support procurement and construction by preparing RFP packages, reviewing vendor bids/technical clarifications, and supporting:
- RFIs, submittals, field changes, and as-builts
- Construction inspection support, hydrotest planning support, and commissioning/startup activities
- Prepare sealed design packages, calculations, and QA/QC documentation; maintain organized project files and change control.
Preferred Tools & Experience
- AutoCAD / Civil 3D, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite; GIS familiarity a plus.
- Experience with pipeline engineering deliverables (alignment sheets, crossing details, material specs, tie-in packages).
- Field experience supporting construction, hydrotesting, commissioning, and working in/around operating facilities.
- Consulting or EPC background and familiarity with owner/operator standards.
- 6+ years of relevant experience
Pay Range - $100,000 - $140,000 base + end of year bonus.
