Tax Administrative Coordinator (Temp role)

POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Tax Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for tax processing support as well as related administrative work. You will also provide administrative support to multiple management-level staff and perform a variety of administrative duties to effectively maximize the productivity and time of his/her assigned. This person should be self-motivated and work well independently, while also recognizing the need to be a team player. This role is a Temporary to Perm role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide tax operational support, including the processing of tax returns in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assemble and complete mailing of tax return and tax payment documents.
- Appropriately organize and store fully executed documents.
- Monitor team email inbox and timely save down tax workpaper and documents as it is posted by tax service provider.
- Timely maintain and update multiple tax project status trackers.
- Ad hoc projects as needed
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience in the public accounting industry or a professional services environment preferred
- At least 2 years of applicable work experience
- Ability to prioritize work, multi-task and complete assignments independently
- Team player, attentive to detail, and well organized
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability/flexibility to work outside of normal business hours and on weekends at deadlines
