Part Time instructor role for 5 weeks - October 27th 2027- December 4th 2025
Position Purpose
This position is responsible for providing subject matter instruction to students in a classroom or lab setting. This position is required to teach assigned classes as scheduled or as assigned, and perform administrative functions related to teaching.
JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Teach classes on a regularly scheduled basis assigned and create a welcoming environment for students that is conducive to learning.
• Assist Program Coordinator, Campus Director of Education, or Campus Executive Director in developing curriculum, preparing course materials, class scheduling, and maintaining tools and equipment used by students.
• Maintain a neat and orderly classroom or lab.
• Establish and maintain academic and attendance records for student files.
• Submit attendance, grades, student evaluations, and all other reports/documentation to Supervisor or appropriate personnel as required by established procedures.
• Notify the Supervisor of any current or potential issues which warrant immediate attention.
• Utilize proven retention techniques approved by the school to assist students.
• Complete performance-based teacher education modules as assigned by Supervisor, based on outcomes of classroom observations, instructor evaluations, and student completed surveys.
• Attend and/or conduct in-service training, faculty meetings or other mandatory meetings.
• Assist with the department equipment and supplies inventory and submit replenishment
requests to the Supervisor or appropriate personnel.
• Alert Supervisor to student absences, especially on first, third and fifth absence occurrences.
• Perform and complete other tasks that may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Education
• Must possess an earned degree at least one level higher than the program degree offered.
• Must demonstrate up-to-date knowledge and continuing study of the subject matter.
Experience/Skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven, compliance-oriented educational environment.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized, and can multi-task and work well under pressure.
• Demonstrate a high level of integrity, strong work ethic, and professionalism.
• Persuasive and effective verbal and written communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service in an educational setting.
• Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work independently and as a collaborative team member and have exceptional interpersonal skills.
Instructor• Excellent computer skills are required with proficiency in MS Office applications including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams. CampusNexus experience a plus.
• Ability and willingness to work outside of regular work shifts, including evenings and/or weekends as necessary or as requested by Supervisor.
• Ability and willingness to travel locally or overnight occasionally for business.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong command of both theoretical and practical aspects of aircraft maintenance, with contemporary knowledge and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven, and compliance-oriented educational setting.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized, with the capability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity, a strong work ethic, and professionalism in all interactions.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on customer service in an educational context.
- Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, exhibiting exceptional interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule
- Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 2:15pm
- This is a temporary assignment from October 27th 2025 through December 4th 2025

What We Offer
The salary for this position ranges from $26-$36/hr based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
