Senior Salesforce Developer

Role Overview:
This role requires deep expertise across both Salesforce administration and development, with a strong emphasis on CPQ and Revenue Cloud. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling technical solutioning—from gathering requirements to drafting and implementing scalable solutions in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

 

What you will do:

  • Design and develop customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (LWC), and Aura Components to meet business objectives and enhance platform functionality. 

  • Provide system administration for both internal and customer-facing Salesforce environments, ensuring proper user permissions, security, and custom workflows. 

  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems through APIs, web services, and middleware to ensure seamless data flow. 

  • Manage ongoing support, maintenance, and long-term improvements to ensure the Salesforce instance remains stable, efficient, and aligned with business goals. 

  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues to ensure minimal disruption and maintain optimal system performance. 

  • Perform code reviews, unit testing, and ensure best practices for high-quality, maintainable code. 

  • Implement security protocols, including field-level security, sharing rules, and user roles to safeguard data integrity. 

  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, follow version control, testing, and deployment best practices. 

  • Enhance Salesforce application performance by optimizing data handling, processes, and user interface responsiveness. 

  • Oversee deployment strategies, version control, and manage the release pipeline to ensure smooth transitions to production. 

  • Collaborate with project managers, end-users, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions. 

  • Lead the assessment of current Salesforce implementation and identify areas for optimization, automation, and integration with other systems. 

  • Collaborate with teammate technology and revenue operations teams to design and implement scalable solutions aligned with business needs. 

  • Analyze and optimize quote-to-cash processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. 

  • Identify opportunities for process automation and standardization to accelerate sales cycles and reduce manual efforts. 

  • Implement user-friendly tools and interfaces that improve seller experience and operational efficiency. 

  • Establish performance metrics and KPIs to measure the success of system and process enhancements. 

  • Continuously monitor and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and support data-driven decision-making. 

  • Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features and best practices, applying new knowledge to innovate and solve challenges efficiently. 

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA preferred. 

  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development and revenue operations, systems transformation, or process optimization. 

  • Extensive knowledge of Salesforce.com platform capabilities including Sales Cloud, CPQ, Billing, and integrations. 

  • Familiarity with Salesforce Revenue Cloud (including CPQ, Billing, and Revenue Recognition) is highly desirable. 

  • Strong understanding of quote-to-cash processes and collaboration between finance and sales operations. 

  • Proven success in driving efficiency and effectiveness in revenue systems and sales processes. 

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and business teams. 

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant) are a plus.
