Product Designer (UI - Design System) (m/f/d)

Purpose of position:  

Are you passionate about creating beautifully crafted, scalable design solutions? We’re looking for a Product Designer focused on Design Systems to join our team at Awin, supporting our mission to help customers grow their businesses online. You’ll play a key role in helping to evolve and maintain our design system, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency, usability, and quality across our product experiences.

Key Tasks:

• Supporting the evolution of our design system by creating, documenting, and maintaining UI components, patterns, and guidelines
• Collaborating closely with product designers, engineers, and product managers to ensure design system adoption and alignment across teams
• Ensuring components are accessible, responsive, and aligned with usability best practices
• Partnering with engineers to implement and test design system updates within our product codebase
• Advocating for consistent design and interaction patterns across our applications
• Contributing to a clear and usable documentation hub to support team-wide understanding of the system
• Participating in design critiques, feedback sessions, and usability reviews to help drive ongoing improvements
• Staying informed about emerging tools, trends, and practices that could benefit the design system

Skills and expertise:

• Strong experience in both UX and UI design, working on a design system
• Proficiency in Figma, including components, libraries, and design tokens
• A good understanding of accessibility and responsive design principles
• Solid communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams
• Detail-oriented with a passion for clean, scalable, and user-centred design
• Curious, proactive, and keen to grow your skills in a supportive team environment
