Your Impact
At Axon, we’re on a mission to protect life, capture truth, and accelerate justice — and as a Project Manager I, you’ll be at the heart of that mission. You’ll partner directly with law enforcement agencies to help them implement Fusus, Axon’s cutting-edge real-time crime center platform, ensuring they can leverage technology to make communities safer. This is a customer-facing role where you’ll build trusted relationships, drive adoption of industry-leading solutions, and gain exposure to the fast-growing world of public safety tech. What You’ll Do
Location: any Axon office location
Reports to: Director, Program Management
Travel: up to 20% (as needed)
- Lead and manage medium-sized customer projects independently, ensuring on-time and on-quality delivery.
- Shepherd law enforcement agencies through project requirements, keeping them accountable for deliverables and timelines.
- Coordinate cross-functional tasks, stakeholders, and resources to maintain project momentum.
- Communicate project updates clearly and effectively with internal teams and customer stakeholders (primarily via Zoom).
- Ensure deliverables meet compliance and quality standards while aligning with Axon’s mission.
- Handle multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment, adjusting priorities and solving problems independently.
- Build trusted customer relationships by demonstrating product knowledge and acting as a reliable point of contact.
- Become a subject matter expert in the Fusus platform, translating technical capabilities into customer value.
- Anticipate risks and escalate complex issues when needed, while resolving day-to-day project conflicts.
- Track and report on project health (timelines, risks, dependencies).
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of relevant project management experience, with demonstrated ability to manage medium-sized projects.
- Strong organizational skills and proven ability to multitask across multiple active projects.
- Excellent communication skills, with comfort leading customer-facing conversations (including with law enforcement agencies).
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive projects forward with limited oversight.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies, scheduling tools, and risk management practices.
- Curiosity and aptitude for learning Axon’s product suite, with the ability to quickly become a subject matter expert.
Work Location
Location: This role is based out of one of our hub locations (Scottsdale AZ, Atlanta GA, Denver CO, Boston MA, Seattle WA) and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation.
