The Opportunity

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of customer implementations. You will serve as the primary executor of customer-facing business analysis activities while acting as a trusted liaison between clients, sales, product, engineering, and project teams.

This role blends deep domain expertise in Health and Human Services with strong business analysis, system design, and stakeholder management skills. You will guide agencies from discovery through implementation by translating complex business needs into scalable, practical software solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Lead customer-facing business analysis activities throughout the full implementation lifecycle
  • Partner with customers, subject matter experts, product owners, and engineering teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable system requirements
  • Analyze and document current-state and future-state business processes, workflows, and integration requirements
  • Define system design specifications and test conditions to ensure technical and business alignment
  • Develop and execute system design validation plans, including test scripts, test scenarios, and supporting documentation
  • Facilitate system design workshops, change management sessions, and other customer-facing engagements both onsite and remotely
  • Assess the impact of product and configuration changes on business processes and technical workflows
  • Identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities, and recommend practical, value-driven solutions
  • Support project planning by helping enforce timelines, milestones, and delivery commitments
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by applying current best practices in business analysis, information systems, and HHS technology
  • Promote and contribute to an inclusive, equitable, and collaborative team culture
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support project and organizational success

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Business Management, Business Technology, Social or Human Services Technology, or a related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience
    OR 7 or more years of relevant professional experience
  • Proficiency with OnBase is a must to have.
  • Experience working in Health and Human Services environments
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and full coverage auto insurance
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Change Management Professional
  • Formal training in Project Management, Business Analysis, Business Planning, Organizational Assessment, or Business Strategy and Analytics
  • IIBA certification or progress toward certification

  • Strong foundation in business analysis methodologies and HHS domain knowledge
  • Proven ability to lead complex, large-scale projects and manage day-to-day execution
  • Skilled in technology-enabled solutions, including MS Office and virtual collaboration tools
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation capabilities
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with the ability to travel as required
