We are hiring a Product Manager to own the day-to-day of that platform while our Head of Product focuses on what comes next.
This is the second product hire on the team. You will report directly to the Head of Product, with no buffer layer between you and product decisions, and no buffer between you and customers. Small team, fast pace, real ownership from week one.
What you will own
- Day-to-day decisions on the existing platform. Change requests, configuration calls, prioritization trade-offs, customer escalations. You move independently on the calls you can make and loop in the Head of Product on the ones you cannot.
- Delivery from idea to production. JIRA hygiene, sprint rhythm, QA handoffs, release notes, customer-facing docs. We do not have a formal Scrum process today. You will help shape one with our CTO.
- AI inside our workflow. We have started building skills and agents using tools like Claude, JIRA, and Zapier to handle parts of our process. You will keep iterating on them and stitch them together into something more cohesive. This is not "use ChatGPT to write emails." We want someone who has built things and can show us how.
- Cross-team communication. You are the connective tissue between Engineering, Implementation, Support, Customer Success, and QA. You produce the release notes, decision summaries, and updates that keep everyone aligned.
- Customer conversations. You will talk to college staff regularly. The best product calls come from real workflow context, not dashboards.
What we are looking for
- 3 to 5 years in Product Management, Product Operations, or Technical Project Management at a B2B SaaS company
- You have personally owned a backlog, run standups, and shipped releases in an Agile environment
- Hands-on AI tool fluency. You can point to specific agents, prompts, or LLM-assisted workflows you have built or substantially contributed to in a real work setting
- Strong analytical instincts. You can pull signal from usage data, support trends, and customer feedback without being told what to look for
- Clear communicator with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders
- Familiar with workflow engines, process automation, or configurable SaaS platforms
- US-based. We are not sponsoring visas or hiring on OPT for this role
Bonus, not mandatory
- Background in B2B SaaS workflow platforms, configurable products, or EdTech
- A developer or technical BA who has moved into product, or a PM with enough technical depth to read code and reason about architecture
- Experience with automation and integration tooling such as Zapier, n8n, or Make
This role is probably not for you if
- You want a 200-person product org with a defined ladder. There are two people in the product here, including you.
- You expect a polished delivery process to inherit. We are building it.
- Your AI experience is conceptual rather than hands-on.
- Your base salary expectation is above $100K.
Why this is a good seat
You will know everyone on the team in your first week. You will make decisions that ship to customers within days. As the company grows and the product suite expands, this role grows with it. DualEnroll is a Banyan Software portfolio company, which means profitable, growing, and built for the long term.
How to apply
Send your resume. In place of a cover letter, send one short paragraph on an AI workflow you have built or substantially contributed to in a work setting. What product problem it solved, what you would do differently, and where you got stuck. We read every one of these. Generic AI-generated answers are easy to spot.
The expected base salary for this position is: [CAD $75,000 - $95,000] excluding annual bonus and equity (when applicable). Salary is based on a number of factors including market conditions, location and may vary depending on job-related skills and experience.
