BBPOS is one of the world leaders in payment devices and the inventors of mPOS technology. BBPOS products are used by large retailers and leading online platforms across multiple industries. BBPOS is engaged in the business of manufacturing and supplying mobile and smart point-of-sale hardware, and the underlying software and infrastructure to deploy, manage, and monitor those devices. BBPOS is now part of Stripe’s Terminal business since the acquisition in March 2022.
About the team
Post acquisition, the BBPOS team is now an extension of the Stripe Terminal team. Stripe Terminal helps Stripe users extend their online presence into the physical world. The Terminal team’s mission is to make it as easy for businesses to accept in-person payments as the Stripe API has done for online payments. With Terminal, businesses can unlock in-person payments use cases that are right for their business model—whether it’s creating a flagship retail experience, extending their website to a pop-up store, or enabling a mobile point-of-sale at their next event.

We are looking for a strong recruiter to join our recruitment team with focus on the high-tech market for APAC region and support BBPOS continuous team expansion and growth in Taiwan, China and Hong Kong. The role will proactively identify, reach out to and engage top tech talents to meet our high hiring bar. This will be a great opportunity for those talent acquisition professionals who are passionate in the fintech industry and eager to thrive in an innovative, collaborative and fast-paced global environment.
What you’ll do
- Build up close partnership with hiring teams from both Stripe and BBPOS, working out effective sourcing strategies and candidate assessment approaches to meet business needs
- Build up strong pipelines for hard-to-fill roles and able to conduct market mapping plan, promote jobs on social media platforms and develop various sourcing channels to diversify our talent pool
- Understand how to use tools such as LinkedIn search for approaching passive candidates and able to continuously engage and re-engage with candidates and advocate a long-term relationship with them
- work closely with recruitment coordinators and full lifecycle recruiter for seamless interview arrangement, candidate experience, recruitment data metrics, etc.
- Generate talent insight report, navigate the current sourcing bottleneck and recommend ideas and strategies that will contribute to the continuous growth of the talent pools
- Understand BBPOS hiring bar, screen candidates with consistent assessment benchmark and prepare candidates with proper interview guideline throughout interview loop
- Work closely with the HR team on some recruiting initiatives including but not limited to referral programme, sourcing hours and etc.
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years recruitment experience in high tech industry
- Proven track records of successful candidate placements in tech (hardware/software) industry
- Expert knowledge with sourcing tools, such as boolean search, LinkedIn recruiter, LinkedIn insight etc.
- Experience with applicant tracking system for sourcing, tracking and managing candidates
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong problem-solving skills and result-oriented mindset
- Proficient in both English and Chinese
Preferred qualifications
- Recruitment experience for hardware related positions
- A good understanding of high-tech talent pools in Taiwan
- Able to handle recruitment-related projects such as interviewer training, referral and etc.
