Job Summary
The Logistics Clerk is responsible for verifying and processing payment authorization for all of the Logistics invoices.  This person is also in charge of maintaining low volumes/values on our Freight Suspense, as well as monitoring and executing efforts aligned with this goal like issuing chargebacks and sending warnings to employees and vendors who issue non-compliant shipments.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· 50% of the job involves coding invoices for payment - General ledger (GL) coding of freight invoices for BDA finance can pay
· Audit freight invoices against our rate files for accuracy
· Unknown freight resolution involves both solving and minimizing unknown freight issues including coding for finance to pay
· Issuance of supplier chargebacks involving improper references and unauthorized shipping
· Police use of freight by suppliers and internal BDA personnel based on the rules of logistics
· Handle various projects as assigned by the Logistics Manager
· Logistics liaison in the BDA Philippines office

QUALIFICATIONS
· Basic computer applications primarily email
· Accounts Payable or General Ledger Coding experience preferred
· Logistics experience or background preferred
· Proficient in Excel
