Job Summary:

As an HR Business Partner, you will work closely with leadership and teams across BELLA+CANVAS to drive HR strategies, enhance organizational performance, and contribute to company goals. You will provide expertise in areas such as talent management, workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, and leadership development. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Strategic Partnering: While understanding business objectives, collaborate with leadership to proactively engage and identify people gaps and opportunities to propose recommendations that align with HR strategies and company goals.
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance and recommendations on employee relations issues, while conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Recognizing when to escalate problems to a higher level to ensure that company policies and local, state, and federal laws are followed.
  • Performance Management: As a consultant to leaders, offer guidance, and recommendations regarding employee planning, feedback, development, and assessment to optimize employee performance, boost engagement, and drive success. Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes to ensure continuous employee growth and alignment with company objectives.
  • Change Management: Support and lead initiatives related to organizational change, ensuring smooth transitions for teams and individuals.
  • Employee Engagement & Talent Management: Foster employee engagement and help create an exceptional employee experience that reflects our company guiding principles. Support the development, and retention of talent to ensure the company has the right people in the right roles.
  • Leadership Development: Collaborate with managers to identify development needs and cross functional partners to create strategies to build leadership capabilities.
  • Workforce Planning: Assist in workforce planning, ensuring that the company has the right mix of skills and competencies to meet future business needs.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Provide guidance with compensation practices, support with leave of absence needs while ensuring alignment with company standards and local, state, and federal laws.
  • Compliance: Ensure HR policies and practices are compliant with relevant local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize HR metrics and data to identify trends, improve processes, and support decision-making.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in a strategic HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with leaders and employees.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience with HR software and data analysis tools.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
