ABOUT THE STRATEGY & CULTURE CONSULTING INTERNSHIP

Orchestra is seeking a highly motivated individual who is interested in getting hands-on experience in strategy and culture and consulting. We're proud to offer an internship program that offers the skills and experiences to be successful. Currently, 60% of our entry-level staff are former interns with us! We believe culture is the winning strategy and we help companies and nonprofits tune in to theirs—and transform their organizations for ultimate impact. We design innovative experiences that enhance personal and organizational capacity for growth. We help individuals and organizations align their culture with their strategy, fostering adaptability and unlocking potential for lasting impact. Through consulting, executive coaching and strategic assessments, we partner with organizations to build stronger cultures, navigate change and drive success. 

Interns may collaborate with other divisions and teams as needed. Interns will be asked to focus on a range of projects, including longer-term and day-to-day/immediate tasks assigned by their team and will learn the basics of high-level strategy and culture and consulting.

Role duration: Our Summer 2025 Internship Program runs from mid-May to mid-to-late August 2025.

Role hours: Interns must be able to work 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, on a 9 a.m.-to-5 p.m. Eastern Time schedule. Please note that client needs may require flexibility with working hours (e.g., 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.). Please do not apply if you cannot meet this requirement.

Role location: This role is based in either our New York, N.Y. or Washington, D.C. office on a hybrid basis, in-office at least 3 days per week.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

As an intern on our team, you will…

  • Learn the basics of strategy and culture consulting
  • Share and execute on your ideas for our clients
  • Draft reports, create agendas, gather resources and conduct research projects
  • Assist with a variety of project- and team-related assignments and tasks as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Must be a rising college senior (or junior), postgraduate student or non-student
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, multi-tasker, good organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated interest in organizational strategy and culture
  • Capability to work with a team to meet group objectives
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner with clients
  • Excellent computer skills, including Google Suite products

 

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

Salary: The compensation for this role is $18 per hour.

  • 3 PTO (paid time off) days
  • 3 paid wellness days
    • Wellness days are to ensure interns have adequate time to take care of their mental, emotional, and physical health while PTO days are used for personal activities, such as a vacation.
