Successful Candidate Profile

  • Property Managers / Senior / Area / Regional: You should have multi-site management experience, a solid understanding of conventional/market-rate housing, and strong people management skills. Experience with Section 8 and subsidy programs is strongly preferred, and familiarity with AppFolio would be an advantage.
  • Assistant Property Managers: Typically, Assistant Property Managers have a leasing or property management administration background.
  • Leasing Agents: Successful Leasing Agents usually come from customer service or sales backgrounds.
  • Technology at Birgo: We fully embrace technology, so being comfortable with tech is a must.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong written, verbal, and persuasive communication skills are essential.
  • Location: Be prepared to work onsite at properties five days a week, including Saturdays and evening leasing hours as needed. We serve communities throughout the Western PA area as well as West Virginia, Western New York, and Ohio.
  • Work Requirements: Must possess an active driver's license and insured vehicle. Must be able to ascend/descend stairs and traverse uneven terrain, transport up to 25 lbs, and use a computer for a full workday.
