Black Duck seeks an experienced leader to help manage our Implementation and Services Team and help drive customer onboarding and adoption. We're looking for someone to help us take our business to the next level of excellence in delivery and customer delight!
The Team
The Black Duck Technical Services team is dedicated to supporting our customers in developing their AppSec vision and achieving their goals quickly. We accomplish this through the delivery of exemplary product implementations and adoption-focused services that are tailored to their specific needs. Our services are designed to help customers of all sizes and types, from Startup’s to global organizations, build secure, high-quality software faster and maximize the value of their Black Duck tools.
A Day in Your Life
In this role, as a manager you’ll:
- Guide and grow Technical Services teams to surpass goals in project execution and client satisfaction.
- Set up and uphold Black Duck delivery standards, practices, and tools among internal and partner teams for reliable, top-quality outcomes.
- Oversee resource allocation, plan team capacity, and optimise use across both internal staff and partners, including hiring and integrating partner personnel.
- Prepare, evaluate, and approve statements of work, change orders, and proposals while ensuring accurate forecasts and steady revenue streams.
- Promote technical excellence by keeping up to date with advancements in Black Duck Products.
- Foster strong partnerships with regional teams for effective project planning and implementation.
- Track project progress, address issues as they arise, and maintain open communication between clients, teams, and leadership.
- Offer guidance, mentorship, and career advancement opportunities to help team members perform at their best.
- Add to thought leadership efforts and deliver presentations to customers, acting as a trusted consultant to clients.
You'll have:
- Deep understanding of the application the DevOps and Application.
- Experience Leading and growing teams.
- Experience with mixed onshore/offshore delivery models.
- Experience leading teams providing services different regions around the globe.
- Ability to the gracefully navigate cultural differences.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and DevOps tools.
- Proven experience handling intricate projects involving multiple stakeholders and maintaining successful partnerships.
- Proven strategic thinking in business, product, and technical contexts
- A demonstrated technical aptitude, sharp consulting instincts, and a passion for delivering ground-breaking solutions for top-tier technology companies.
- Rock-solid analytical skills, conceptual ability, and creativity.
- The talent to work with, connect to, and influence customers to transform processes to utilize new technologies.
- The ability to travel up to 20% of time as the job requires.
You May Have:
- A track record of delivering professional services and technical account management for complex security products.
- A background in software development, ideally with experience with dominant programming language.
- Security certification such as CEH, CISSP, or CSSLP.
- Experience with security testing and network protocols.
Your Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or another scientific degree (Master's Degree or equivalent Experience preferred).
