DataOps Engineer

Black Duck Finland is looking for a DataOps Engineer to join our Binary Analysis R&D team in Oulu. In this role, you’ll work at the core of our software security and compliance solutions, helping ensure that organizations worldwide can trust the software they build and use.
You’ll be part of a skilled, supportive engineering team where you can take ownership, solve meaningful technical challenges, and shape the data pipelines and automation behind our industry leading security technology.
 
What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain data processing pipelines
• Automate data ingestion, transformation, and quality checks
• Collaborate with R&D on performance, reliability, and scalability
• Support cloud deployments, containerization, and DevOps practices
 
Required skills

• Strong Python skills – ability to write clean, maintainable, high-quality code
• Self driven and proactive mindset – ability to learn new technologies independently
• Willingness to investigate and solve problems autonomously
• Linux competence
 
Nice to have

• Understanding of the open-source ecosystem
• Awareness of open source security and vulnerability data
• Experience or basic understanding of: Apache Airflow, AWS / Terraform and Ansible
