Growth Marketer

Freiburg (Germany), San Francisco (USA)

What if the bottleneck to FLUX becoming the default choice for visual AI isn't the technology, but whether people understand why it matters?

We're the ~50-person team behind Stable Diffusion, Stable Video Diffusion, and FLUX.1—models with 400M+ downloads. But downloads don't tell the whole story. The question keeping us up at night: How do we turn awareness into adoption, experiments into insights, and early momentum into inevitable growth? That's your job to figure out.

What You'll Pioneer

You'll run experiments that drive awareness, adoption, and pipeline—not because you read about them in a growth playbook, but because you'll actually ship them, measure them, and iterate fast. Most importantly, you'll help the world understand why visual AI matters and how it creates new economic opportunities. If you're a builder who loves testing hypotheses, analyzing data, and moving fast in unstructured environments, we'd love to hear from you. This is about making FLUX the obvious choice—the one people think of first when they think visual AI.

You'll be the person who:

  • Build lifecycle marketing programs: create and optimize email campaigns, in-product messaging, and nurture sequences that guide users through activation, engagement, and conversion
  • Write compelling copy: Craft emails, landing pages, webinar scripts, and messaging that resonates with developers and technical decision-makers
  • Spins up experiments constantly—microapps, landing pages, out-of-home campaigns, partnerships, whatever gets attention and moves numbers
  • Creates referral systems and API usage tracking to drive organic growth without relying on paid acquisition
  • Works with design and engineering to ship quickly and test often—killing ideas fast when they don't work, doubling down when they do
  • Implements user-generated content loops that showcase FLUX outputs across multiple use cases and social platforms
  • Makes sure blogs, guides, case studies, and changelogs actually get published, promoted, and seen (not just written and forgotten)
  • Writes compelling technical content and customer success stories that resonate with developers and creators
  • Maintains SEO momentum with smart on-page optimization and distribution strategies
  • Partners with customers to tell their stories and showcase their FLUX-powered innovations
  • Supports product launches with channel-specific campaigns that actually drive adoption

Questions We're Wrestling With

  • What experiments should we run this week to drive pipeline, and how will we know if they worked?
  • How do we make FLUX outputs naturally shareable in ways that drive discovery without feeling forced?
  • What content actually moves developers from awareness to API integration?
  • Where's the line between creative brand work and measurable growth tactics—and how do we do both?
  • Which channels matter for reaching technical audiences, and which are just noise?
  • How do we position visual AI not just as a cool technology, but as something that creates economic opportunity?

These aren't hypothetical—they're experiments you'll be running next week.

Who Thrives Here

You've moved numbers—pipeline, signups, MQLs—not by following a playbook, but by running experiments and learning what works. You spend 80%+ of your time executing: writing copy, setting up campaigns, analyzing results. You're equally comfortable talking about diffusion models with engineers and writing social copy that goes viral. You have exceptional visual taste because you understand our outputs are judged visually.

You likely have:

  • 4–6 years of experience in growth or performance marketing at B2B SaaS companies
  • A track record of owning a number and actually moving it through hands-on execution
  • The ability to ship without waiting—80%+ of your time goes to execution, not planning
  • Excellent writing skills and intuition for what resonates with technical and creative audiences
  • Hands-on experience with growth tools like Meta Ads, PostHog, Customer.io, Google Analytics (bonus if you've set them up yourself)
  • A generalist mindset—excited by early-stage chaos, wearing multiple hats, building from scratch
  • Self-sufficiency with no-code/low-code tools—you can ship experiments without engineering support
  • Understanding of AI/ML concepts, especially diffusion models and generative AI workflows
  • Exceptional visual taste—you understand that our brand should be as compelling as our outputs
  • Strong copywriting skills across both technical documentation and creative messaging
  • Understanding of viral social platforms and what makes visual content spread
  • Data fluency—you can run SQL queries, set up tracking, and make data-driven decisions
  • Ability to articulate why visual AI matters and how it creates new economic opportunities
  • Passion for democratizing creativity through AI and making advanced models accessible

Who You Might Be

You might be an ex-engineer who discovered you love growth more than pure product development. Or a product marketer ready to get hands-on with growth execution. Or a founder/early employee who built growth from 0→1 at a developer tools or creative tooling company.

What This Role Isn't

This role isn't for someone who thinks they're too senior to write copy or hit publish on a blog post. It's not for someone who needs long planning cycles or wants to "own strategy" without execution. It's not for pure brand marketers or traditional demand gen specialists who manage agencies instead of building in-house. If you need a team to execute your ideas or prefer PowerPoint to shipping experiments, this isn't the role.

What We're Building Toward

We're not just running marketing campaigns—we're figuring out how to make FLUX the default choice for visual AI. Every experiment teaches us something about what resonates. Every successful campaign compounds into momentum. Every story we tell shapes how the world understands what we're building. If that sounds more compelling than following a playbook, we should talk.

We're based in Europe and value depth over noise, collaboration over hero culture, and honest technical conversations over hype. Our models have been downloaded hundreds of millions of times, but we're still a ~50-person team learning what's possible at the edge of generative AI.
