Head of Enterprise Sales
About the Position
Bluefish is seeking a seasoned and ambitious leader to build its initial go-to-market strategy and execution. You will be responsible for GTM planning, execution, sales leadership, and top-line revenue growth for Bluefish’s initial roster of AI products.
To be successful in this role, you should be a versatile, full-stack professional with a deep understanding of enterprise brand sales at an early-stage company, with the ability to build a high-performing sales organization from the ground up, taking on the role of player/coach as the team grows.
The ideal candidate will excel in an autonomous role, initially operating as an individual contributor to rapidly achieve exceptional results. Over time, this role will evolve into building, scaling, and leading a highly successful sales team.
What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting directly to CEO, you will own the enterprise revenue function at an AI startup at the earliest stage

Develop and execute a fast-moving GTM and revenue growth strategy

Take ownership of revenue targets, demonstrating the ability to achieve and surpass ambitious goals. You will be accountable for exceptional results quickly

Use your network to engage with prospective brand customers, owning and expanding executive-level customer relationships with the largest brands in the world

Directly responsible for account acquisition and initial brand sales

Work with internal leadership and customers to identify and capitalize on revenue expansion opportunities in a fast-evolving market

Collaborate closely with product/engineering to influence customer roadmaps

Build, grow, and lead a successful sales organization; coach, inspire, and motivate team members

Proactively anticipate industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to stay ahead of market shifts

Serve as a thought leader and evangelist through participation in industry events, publishing educational content, and leading initiatives that establish Bluefish’s authority in the market
Qualifications

Strong experience building and leading early-stage sales organizations

Familiarity with AI concepts and deep understanding of data concepts (e.g. CDP)

Deep enterprise experience with complex sales cycles at high ACVs

Deep understanding of selling martech solutions to brands

Proven track record of starting and growing relationships with key strategic enterprise accounts and achieving revenue goals

A strong track record of interacting and engaging with C-level executives

Ability to start as an individual contributor, building a team as the business grows

Solid track record of attracting top talent and leading successful sales teams

Ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities for Bluefish products

Be comfortable working in a small team
