About The Role:
In this role, you will engage with small business (SMB) owners to introduce and promote Bluevine’s banking platform, helping them onboard, adopt, and leverage the platform to streamline and enhance their business operations. You will be responsible for converting opportunities from various sources through proactive outreach, ongoing engagement, and consultative selling. Your success will empower SMB owners to adopt and expand their use of Bluevine’s solutions, driving market momentum for Bluevine Checking & Payments.
What You’ll Do:
- Grow the number of SMB owners using Bluevine’s banking platform through high-quality consultative selling and proactive engagement via email and phone. Meet monthly quota with customer needs at the forefront
- Conduct introductory outreach to build rapport; strongly represent Bluevine’s brand with new customers and create opportunity for deeper engagement and adoption
- Uncover full customer needs and pain points, identify how Bluevine can best help and educate business owners on the specific benefits and features that will matter most
- Deliver product demonstrations and training to customers for Bluevine’s business checking, bill pay, lending solutions and other relevant features and benefits to help them on their adoption journey to fully utilizing Bluevine for the business
- Capture and problem-solve customer objections, pain points and feedback; identify opportunities for cross-functional stakeholders to improve client outcomes
- Engage existing customers throughout their lifecycle to introduce new or unused features & benefits, with the goal of driving adoption, usage, and revenue
- Achieve the ambition goals set for you by learning how to effectively convey value to our prospects & clients and by looking for ways to work more efficiently through time management and suggesting opportunities to improve our sales process
What We Look For:
- 2+ years experience selling to SMB owners (preferably FinTech or SaaS) with a proven track record of being in the top 10%
- Have a passion and love for helping business owners explore, adopt and use online financial management tools to simplify their operations and power growth
- Experience driving sales results across a multi-stage sales cycle with high and low intent customers, handling “full cycle” sales
- Strong product demonstration skills and demonstrated ability to connect solutions to pain points and needs of small business owners
- Deep understanding of priorities and preferences of small business owners when evaluating new financial management solutions
- A team player, a quick thinker, and a fast learner
- Self-starter, demonstrated excellent in time management to drive sales productivity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for achieving impact and results that is driven by an entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong social selling and persuasion skills with a strong sales process discipline
- Bachelor’s degree required
New Hire Base Salary Range: $62,220 - $74,640
New Hire On-Target Earnings (i.e. Base Salary plus Commissions if achieved) Range: $103,700 - $124,400.
