About The Role

Reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, the Senior Analyst, FP&A will support our business leaders in complex, long-term decision making as we continue to grow the company. You will assist in providing timely and meaningful financial insights to enable the business to analyze performance and make data-driven decisions. The ideal Senior Analyst, FP&A is an extremely analytical financial professional with strong business acumen. In order to juggle the speed of the industry and the ever-changing priorities in the business, the ability to absorb information, adapt to change and be flexible will prove to be valuable. Our business leaders will be leaning on the Senior Analyst, FP&A for unique perspectives, best practices and out-of-the-box thinking, while also trusting your detail-oriented, numbers-driven knowledge of finance to communicate sound business advice.

What You'll Do

Corporate FP&A

  • Prepare quarterly and annual KPI reporting for Corporate and Line of Business functions;
  • Prepare and consolidate the short term and long term corporate cash flow, assessing cash flow risk and opportunities, and running scenarios to drive strategic planning and investment decisions on a monthly basis;
  • Assess organizational debt metrics and updates to dashboards through Power BI;
  • Prepare five year business plan forecasts, working with business units to analyze and quantify targets and scenarios;
  • Collaborate with business units to ensure quality of financial data and analyze financial results; 
  • Collaborate with business units in delivering financial visibility and transparency through cash flow projections, risk analysis, and scenario analysis;
  • Adhoc analysis and reporting.

Risk Group

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly risk reports for Finance and Operations in collaboration with organizational Head of Risk;
  • Coordinate and host monthly risk meetings with all risk groups;
  • Prepare and consolidate quarterly risk report from all risk groups to the Risk Governance Committee assessing risk across the organization;
  • Continue to expand the risk process across the organization, integrating risk into the business;
  • Support monthly updates to the risk dashboard through Power BI.

What You Bring

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in finance or accounting in an analytical capacity;
  • Designated CPA or CFA;
  • Advanced working proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and FP&A software applications;
  • Ability to work in complex spreadsheets and interpret large volumes of business data;
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation (verbal/written) skills with the ability to communicate professionally to all levels of the business;
  • Ability to analyze complex business situations and summarize key issues;
  • Experience working in the real estate industry will be considered an asset;
  • Experience with Power BI will be considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience managing changing priorities efficiently and effectively, managing and meeting deadlines.

Our salary ranges and bonus percentages are determined by job family and level. Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, education and training, years of relevant experience, and internal equity.

Salary

$99,756 - $137,088 CAD
