Job Summary
Bot Auto is searching for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join its growing team. This role will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within the autonomous trucking and logistics industries. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the transportation and logistics market, a proven track record in sales and business development, and a passion for emerging technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify potential customers and strategic partners, including third-party logistics providers (3PLs), shippers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and Tier 1 suppliers.
- Execute the comprehensive business development strategy, focusing on customer acquisition and revenue generation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the autonomous trucking and logistics ecosystems.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients and partners.
- Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for Bot Auto.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and marketing, to ensure successful implementation of partnerships and customer contracts.
- Track and report on key performance metrics, including leads generated, deals closed, and revenue growth.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies, particularly in the areas of autonomous driving, AI, and logistics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the transportation, logistics, or technology industries.
- Deep understanding of the autonomous trucking and logistics market, including key players, industry trends, and regulatory landscape.
- Strong network of contacts within the industry, including 3PLs, shippers, OEMs, and technology providers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Passion for autonomous driving and emerging technologies.
