Job Title: Finance Director – FP&A

Role: Business partner to CHRO and Corp. FP&A Lead Location: Bengaluru Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Director – FP&A to lead financial planning and analysis functions in India for a fast-growing US-based FinTech company. This role will work closely with the Chief HR Officer to manage budgeting and financial planning while also overseeing Corporate FP&A. The Finance Director will lead a team of three to five senior FP&A professionals and drive company-wide financial reporting frameworks and processes. Key Responsibilities:  Strategic Financial Planning & Budgeting: Partner with the Chief HR Officer to manage HR budgeting, workforce planning, and forecasting.  Corporate FP&A Leadership: Oversee and enhance the corporate FP&A function, ensuring robust financial modelling, budgeting, and performance tracking.  Financial Reporting & Analysis: Develop and implement company-wide financial reporting frameworks and processes to enhance data-driven decision-making.  Technology & Data-Driven Insights: Utilize financial analytics and automation tools to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiency.  Process Optimization: Establish standardized FP&A processes that drive efficiency and scalability.  Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business leaders, finance teams, and the executive leadership to provide insightful financial recommendations.  Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a high-performing FP&A team of six senior members. Qualifications & Experience:  Education: o Chartered Accountant (CA), OR o MBA in Finance from a top-tier institution. OR o B. Tech in Computer Science, and MBA in Finance from a top-tier institution.  Experience: o 12-15 years of experience in FP&A, financial modelling, and business analytics. o Prior experience in a FinTech, technology, or fast-growing startup environment is preferred. o Proven track record in corporate FP&A, Headcount and financial planning for Function or Product lines. Technical Skills & Competencies:  Strong proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and budget planning.  Experience in designing and implementing company-wide financial reporting frameworks.  Proficiency in data analytics and automation tools.  Basic knowledge of Python and SQL queries for financial data extraction and analysis.  Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, Planning Tool (Adaptive/Hyperion) or other data visualization tools.  Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, financial KPIs, and technology-driven business models.  Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills. ©2025 Bottomline - Proprietary and Confidential.
