In This Role
Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test procedures

Perform functional, regression, and scenario‑based testing across system updates and deployments

Validate software behavior across hybrid and on‑premises/cloud environments

Test system modifications and enhancements prior to implementation or release

Identify, analyze, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system

Clearly communicate defects, test results, and risk assessments to engineering stakeholders

Monitor defect resolution efforts and verify fixes through retesting

Maintain documentation and databases of known defects, test results, and quality metrics

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand requirements and customer scenarios

Plan and manage testing schedules aligned with project scope, priorities, and delivery timelines

Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and strategies
Required Qualifications
-
Associate’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline

10+ years of professional experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test engineering

Proven experience designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts

Strong experience creating test documentation, including test plans and test results reports

Demonstrated ability to analyze test results and provide actionable recommendations

Experience tracking and managing defects through established bug tracking systems

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Consistent employment history demonstrating stability and long‑term role commitment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing infrastructure, platform, or backend services
- Familiarity with Windows Server environments and file services
- Exposure to cloud services and hybrid cloud architectures
- Experience validating customer deployments and real‑world usage scenarios
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to learn new products, systems, and technologies quickly
- Experience working with distributed or cross‑functional engineering teams
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $65000- 70000 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
