Growth Specialist

The Position:
BPD is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment to serve as a Specialist on the Business Strategy and Growth team. The Specialist will work closely with the team to activate BPD’s growth strategy by supporting complex new business opportunities with potential new clients in health systems, health technology, and health services segments. This person must be comfortable taking initiative and should have the confidence to work with people at all levels of the organization, including the C-suite, to guarantee success in strategic growth processes.
The Responsibilities:
Includes, but not limited to the following:
- Support on lead-vetting calls as the agency point-of-contact, collaborating with the BS&G manager in translating the prospect’s business challenges and expressed needs into customized RFP responses.
- Lead the development and management of BPD's responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs). This includes coordinating team involvement, managing the timeline and process of content development, overseeing response strategy in cooperation with pitch lead, coordinating the timely packaging (design/shipment, etc,) and ensuring that the proposal is 100% responsive to the ask in the RFP document.
- Aid in maintaining and updating library of standard RFP response language.
- Support the development of pitches, assisting pitch lead as necessary, and managing the pitch development and prep process. This may include: clearly defining roles & responsibilities, keeping meeting notes & to-dos, holding core team to agreed-upon deadlines/deliverables, coordinating the development of design pieces (leave-behinds, microsite, etc.) and deck changes, bringing forward examples from past pitches, aligning the team on pitch best-practices, and supporting the pitch lead in ensuring the established pitch strategy remains intact throughout the process.
- Provide proactive updates of documented pitch processes based on learnings from opportunity post-mortems and emerging best practices to enhance win rate and efficiency.
- Ensure BPD’s voice, tone, and culture come through in all proposal/pitch materials by aiding in proofing and quality control.
- Update Salesforce with opportunity stages, notes, and other relevant details.
The Essentials:
- Marketing/business development experience preferred
- Experience responding to RFPs preferred
- Healthcare industry experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong project management and organization skills
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Flexibility and willingness to work on a wide variety of tasks
- Self-starter
