Our Ohio office is growing! We are seeking a dedicated and results driven Personal Injury Attorney to expand our Ohio presence! At Brandon J. Broderick we are committed to providing exceptional legal services and our team is passionate about ensuring clients receive the full compensation they deserve. The ideal candidate will handle a case load of personal injury matters through settlement or trial. They will successfully advocate for clients, conducting thorough investigations, negotiating with insurance companies and appearing in court as required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a caseload of personal injury cases from initiation through resolution, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
- Effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance companies to negotiate settlements and facilitate the litigation process.
- Conduct depositions, attend court hearings, and represent clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings.
- Lead settlement negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes for clients, leveraging strong negotiation skills.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to devise case strategies for optimal outcomes.
- Stay updated on changes in personal injury laws and legal trends to provide knowledgeable counsel to clients.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Ohio, in good standing.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience handling plaintiffs' personal injury matters, with a focus on Ohio law.
- Proficient litigation skills, including experience with drafting legal documents, conducting depositions, and courtroom appearances.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Compensation Range:
$150,000 - $200,000 USD
Compensation: The base salary or hourly range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to; prior relevant experience, business needs and market factors. Additionally, salary wages are only part of the total compensation package.
