Role: Senior MI Analyst and Implementation Lead

Location: Remote until further notice

 

A little bit about the role: 

We are hiring a Senior MI Analyst to be embedded within the Implementation team to own the accuracy, integrity and strategic value of client-facing data and reporting across our global accounts. You will lead end-to-end MI delivery for new implementations and fast-starts - translating win requirements into repeatable data models, integrations and dashboards that are live from day one. Combining hands-on analytics, data-quality ownership and a project-management approach, you will ensure account leadership can confidently make data-driven decisions, drive adoption and shorten time-to-value. This client-facing role will convert complex datasets into clear insights, establish standards, monitoring and continuously improve how we capture, report and act on business performance.

What you'll be doing: 

 

Implementation: 

  • Act as the primary data lead embedded in the implementation team to translate client needs and agreed KPIs in to clear and concise briefs for the Analytics, Insights and Reporting team. 
  • Design and maintain standardised data templates, standards and automation to accelerate time-to-live for dashboards. 
  • Manage the intake and prioritisation of implementation data work coordinating closely with Implementation leads, Account teams and with the Analytics, Insights and Reporting team. 
  • Provide expert support during go-live, including troubleshooting, client-facing demonstrations and early-stage adoption coaching. 

 

Data Quality: 

  • Setup custom SQL queries to resolve complex data inquiries and integrate AI into daily business operations. 
  • Ensure all data feeding MI dashboards is accurate, complete and validate, build QA checks, flag anomalies and drive corrective actions within teams. 
  • Reconcile and standardise data from multiple sources and platforms. 
  • Document definitions, KPIs and logic to reduce ambiguity. 
  • Attain proficiency in Oliver's proprietary tools, including OMG and the AI Sandbox. 

Deliver reports: 

  • Develop reports and management information (MI) dashboards that adhere to project briefs and client key performance indicators (KPIs), utilising tools such as PowerPoint, ZOHO Analytics, and Microsoft Power BI. 

Analysis and Stakeholder Engagement:  

  • Identify patterns and emerging trends using descriptive and diagnostic analytics; turn data into actionable recommendations. 
  • Partner with senior internal and client stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver tailored analytics and insights that is clearly presented. 

Improve process: 

  • Review and streamline data capturing and reporting processes to improve accuracy with minimal overhead. 
  • Champion best practices and continuous improvement. 

Provide support to the wider team: 

  • Coach and mentor junior team members, provide bandwidth support to the head of the department and ensure smooth collaboration and quality outputs. 

What you'll need: 

  • 5–10 years’ experience in MI, business analysis and reporting, with progression to a senior role. 
  • Proven experience working embedded in Implementation/Delivery teams and in client-facing delivery. 
  • Advanced Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, merging/cleaning datasets). 
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL. 
  • Hands-on experience with dashboarding tools (Power BI, Tableau or Zoho Analytics). 
  • Strong data modelling, ETL and data quality assurance skills, including familiarity with database design and integrating data from multiple systems. 
  • Practical experience applying AI/LLMs to analytics tasks or automation to improve efficiency. 
  • Understanding of marketing/commercial operations and related KPIs. 
  • Project-management approach to work: prioritisation, managing competing stakeholder demands and meeting tight delivery timelines. 
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication: able to present to senior audiences and translate technical detail into clear, client-ready narratives. 
  • Self-motivated, organised and proactive, able to manage multiple priorities independently. 
  • Collaborative, solution-oriented team player with big-picture thinking and a positive, can-do attitude.
