Role:  Senior Treasury Analyst

Location:  Mumbai, India

 

About the role: 

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Treasury Analyst to come and join the team, reporting to Group Treasurer - Operation at The Brandtech Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our cash management activities, managing bank KYC documentation, executing treasury payments, and leveraging the FIS Integrity Treasury Management System (TMS) to drive efficiency in our treasury operations. The role also encompasses managing foreign exchange, money market trades, and intercompany loan management through TMS, along with providing leadership to support various day-to-day treasury functions.

 

What you will be doing: 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Management:
    • Lead the monitoring and optimization of daily cash positions and liquidity to ensure sufficient resources for operational needs.
    • Develop and implement strategic cash management plans to maximize the company’s cash position and returns.
    • Oversee the preparation and analysis of regular cash flow forecasts and variance analysis.
  • Bank KYC Management:
    • Lead and manage the maintenance of comprehensive KYC documentation for all banking relationships.
    • Ensure the team's compliance with regulatory requirements related to banking operations.
    • Serve as the senior point of contact for bank-related inquiries and relationship management.
  • Treasury Payments:
    • Oversee and manage the execution of domestic and international payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Lead the reconciliation of treasury-related accounts and prompt resolution of discrepancies.
    • Implement and maintain robust internal controls related to treasury payment processes.
  • FIS Integrity TMS Utilisation:
    • Lead the utilization of FIS Integrity TMS to streamline treasury operations and reporting.
    • Oversee the processing and recording of FX trades and money market transactions through TMS.
    • Manage and track intercompany loans, ensuring proper documentation, using TMS.
    • Lead the generation and analysis of treasury reports using FIS Integrity to support decision-making.
    • Train and mentor team members on the effective use of the FIS Integrity system.
  • Day-to-Day Treasury Operations:
    • Lead the coordination and management of intercompany cash flows and funding.
    • Oversee the management of foreign exchange transactions and hedging activities.
    • Support the finance team in the month-end and quarter-end close processes related to treasury functions.
    • Document and implement treasury policies and procedures to ensure best practices.
    • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve complex treasury-related issues and queries.
    • Stay informed on market trends and regulatory changes impacting treasury activities.

 

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Treasury certification is a plus.
  • 6+ years of experience in treasury management, cash management, and banking operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in using FIS Integrity Treasury Management System.
  • Proven experience in processing FX trades, money market trades, and managing intercompany loans at a senior level.
  • Strong understanding of KYC processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship management abilities.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
