Job Title: Architectural Assistant Project Manager

Location: Long Island City, Queens

Job Type: Full Time, Onsite

Job Description: Bradford Construction, a BRAVO Group company, currently has an opportunity for an Architectural Assistant Project Manager to support one of our NYC public agency clients. This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience in a project management and operations capacity within the Architecture & Engineering industry, or for an Architectural Designer/Job Captain with exposure to project management who is looking to transition from a design-focused role.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Supports the Studio Director with day-to-day operational oversight.
  • Tracks program status, consultant workloads, performance, compliance, and participation across Architecture & Engineering initiatives.
  • Assists with consultant task assignments, workload planning, goals, and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinates activities and communications across internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Reviews and tracks contract modifications, supplemental agreements, and payment requests in RCMS.
  • Prepares meeting agendas, minutes, executive summaries, weekly reports, metrics, directives, and other leadership communications.
  • Provides logistical and administrative support for meetings and studio operations.
  • Identifies operational risks and challenges, recommending process improvements and mitigation strategies.
  • Assists in developing and maintaining standardized workflows, templates, documentation, and reporting systems.

 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • At least five (5) years within Architectural Design and/or operational support in Architecture & Engineering.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience with Project Management.
  • Experience with consultant relations, vendor coordination, and public-sector workflows.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and reporting tools such as Microsoft Project.
  • Familiarity with New York City education-sector projects and procedures is a plus.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. #LI-Onsite

Salary

$90,000 - $125,000 USD
