Our Culture
Our culture is anchored in excellence, meaning constant improvement, and it is deeply tied to our mission. Because markets are objective, competitive, and getting smarter everyday, we need to keep rapidly improving to have any chance of beating them. Truth is our most essential tool for engaging with the markets and constantly improving because once you know what's true about your problems and opportunities, you can determine how to get better. Valuing truth means being transparent about your decision-making and mistakes, giving and receiving feedback with humility, and fighting for the best answers over hierarchy, ego, or self-interest. Operating this way is hard – it's only possible because we build meaning in our work and relationships. This meaning comes from the audacity of the mission, and the joy of working alongside people who make you a better version of yourself. The culture, like Bridgewater itself, is always evolving. In 1997 our founder Ray Dalio wrote down his lessons, starting with a Philosophy Statement which remains our foundation. This later evolved into a set of 300+ Principles. In 2022, when Ray transitioned the company, we re-underwrote several of those principles and evolved others, with a specific focus on Meritocracy. Today the culture sits, alongside our people, as our most important edge. When we get it right, it’s the engine that powers everything else.

We help our clients broaden their understanding of our investment process, strategies and performance as well as deepen their understanding of financial markets more generally.
About Your Role
We are currently seeking a Project Manager Leverager to join the Content Lab, a small, fast-moving team within Bridgewater. This is a hybrid role: you will own and drive specific projects end to end, while also acting as a leverage partner to the Deputy Head of Content Lab — handling day-to-day logistics and coordination that keep the team running smoothly. You’ll need to understand the goals & priorities of the business to effectively manage competing priorities and escalate when necessary. You'll also coordinate with the Program Management Office (PMO) when priorities intersect across the two functions.
This role goes beyond pure scheduling or administration. Success requires a solid understanding of the team's priorities and goals — enough to coordinate across workstreams, and exercise sound judgement on day-to-day operational decisions, while escalating more complex or ambiguous calls to leadership.
You will drive the following responsibilities:
- In partnership with the Deputy Head of Content Lab and the Program Management Office, provide leverage through project management and business operations including:
- Act as leverage to the Deputy Head of Content Lab, handling day-to-day logistics, in support of team goals and priorities
- Coordinate team meetings and internal event logistics, aligned to business goals & priorities
- Contribute to internal improvements and process initiatives for the team
- Independently own end-to-end delivery for specific, defined projects within the Program Management Office: manage timelines, risks, and stakeholders, building detailed project plans that cover scope, sequencing, milestones, and deliverables
- Drive accountability across functions and contributors, often without formal authority over them, adapting plans in real time as scope and priorities shift
- Build and maintain stakeholder updates, status reporting, and decision logs; exercise sound operational judgement within established procedures, escalating complex or ambiguous issues to leadership
- Manage scheduling and logistics for the Deputy Head of Content Lab where it supports the team's priorities — prioritizing meeting requests and handling day-to-day administrative needs
- Maintain records, organize files, and ensure easy access to important documents and information
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience acting as leverage to a team or function leader
- Ability to understand team goals and priorities to effectively partner on driving initiatives to completion and keeping the team on track knowing when to escalate ambiguous or complex issues to leadership
- Experience managing timelines, scope, and stakeholders for defined projects or workstreams
- Comfort coordinating across teams or functions without formal authority
- Extensive experience managing high volume scheduling or calendars
- High empathy, affinity for working as part of a team to support senior stakeholders
- Effective written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and an ability to juggle multiple responsibilities, tasks, and priorities with minimal error
- Ability to independently anticipate problems and enjoys collaborative problem solving
- Ability to think proactively and show initiative
