Associate, Inbound Operations
Overview
We’re looking for an organized and solutions-oriented Associate, Inbound Operations, to join our Operations team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting Brooklinen’s First Mile operations. You’ll help ensure our products move efficiently from origin to destination by managing data accuracy, vendor communication, and process execution. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their supply chain career to gain hands-on experience and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
This role is based in Manhattan, NY, and we have a 2 days in/3 days remote schedule.
What you’ll do
- Support the day-to-day execution of inbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Monitor inbound volume and coordinate across vendors, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouse partners
- Maintain shipment visibility by updating ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) with accurate in-transit information; reconciling warehouse receipts and resolving discrepancies
- Assist with reporting on freight performance, including weekly in-transit updates and monthly KPI tracking, ensuring SLAs and expectations are met
- Flag shipment delays or exceptions and escalate to the right internal and external stakeholders to drive resolution
- Help maintain the accuracy of inbound dashboards and data tools so stakeholders always have timely, reliable information
We're looking for someone who brings
- 1+ year of experience in operations, supply chain, freight, logistics, or a related field (internships and entry-level roles count)
- Bachelor’s Degree - in a business related field
- Proficiency with Excel and Google Workspace (or Microsoft Office)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage timelines, checklists, and processes effectively
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills for cross-team coordination
- Comfortable working with data in spreadsheets and eager to learn new systems and tools
- Problem-solving mindset, with a focus on improving team efficiency
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
- Experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP system is a plus!
- General knowledge of inbound freight and logistics bookings and exposure to international shipping and custom processes is a plus!

At Brooklinen, we’re committed to providing a competitive total compensation package—grounded in market data that considers our size, stage, industry, and location. For this role, the salary range is between $60K and $65K.
