Manager, Amazon & Marketplaces

New York, New York

Overview
At Brooklinen, we believe great retail blends creativity with commercial rigor. We’re looking for a hands-on operator to support and scale our Amazon and marketplace business — someone who has directly owned execution and performance.

Reporting to our Senior Manager, Ecommerce & Omnichannel Strategy, this role drives day-to-day optimization across Amazon (Seller Central and/or Vendor Central) and other marketplaces. You’ll partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative, Planning, and Operations to improve performance, protect profitability, and ensure our brand shows up thoughtfully across third-party channels. This is a high-growth area of the business with meaningful ownership and clear accountability.

What You’ll Do

Channel Execution & Performance Management

  • Manage day-to-day Amazon and marketplace performance, including revenue, traffic, conversion, and margin
  • Monitor KPIs and identify risks and opportunities
  • Execute initiatives that improve performance across the funnel
  • Maintain regular reporting and performance visibility

Merchandising & Content Optimization

  • Optimize listings, PDP content, and catalog structure
  • Ensure pricing, promotions, and merchandising are executed accurately
  • Partner with Creative to elevate conversion while protecting brand standards
  • Maintain catalog health and marketplace compliance

Marketing & Growth Optimization

  • Partner with Marketing on paid media execution and tracking
  • Analyze data to uncover optimization opportunities
  • Test and iterate to improve traffic, conversion, and efficiency

Inventory & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Support forecasting alignment and healthy inventory flow
  • Align on launch timing and promotional cadence
  • Surface operational risks and help drive solutions

What We’re Looking For

  • Direct, hands-on Amazon experience (Seller Central and/or Vendor Central)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into action
  • Comfort operating independently with clear ownership
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a consumer brand
  • High attention to detail and a bias toward action

What Success Looks Like

  • Performance trends positively quarter over quarter through disciplined, detail-oriented execution
  • Listings are consistently optimized, accurate, and conversion-focused
  • Promotions and pricing updates are executed cleanly and on time
  • You build strong, productive working relationships with external partners, including our Amazon rep, agency team, and marketplace contacts
  • External conversations translate into clear action plans and measurable performance improvements
  • Risks are identified early — whether performance, inventory, or operational — and addressed before materially impacting results
  • Data is translated into clear, actionable recommendations that improve channel health
  • You are seen internally and externally as a reliable, accountable owner of the channel’s day-to-day performance

Compensation

Base salary range: $85,000$105,000, plus equity.
Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, and market data.

Benefits & Perks

• Up to 100% medical, dental, and vision coverage (employee-only)
• Fertility & family-building support (up to $20,000 lifetime)
• 401(k) with a 4% company match
• 16 weeks fully paid parental leave

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

An "Armed forces service medal veteran" means a veteran who, while serving on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service, participated in a United States military operation for which an Armed Forces service medal was awarded pursuant to Executive Order 12985.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
