Business Operations & Analytics, Data Analyst
Job Purpose:
Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Administrator to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate will be responsible for data integrity and accessibility across multiple systems, supporting critical functions for trading, client engagement and business development efforts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with big data sets and be able to bring new ideas on improving existing processes or adding additional technologies.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update internal databases, records, and systems to ensure accuracy and consistency of client, trade, and operational data
- Import, validate, and clean data from multiple sources, identifying discrepancies and resolving data quality issues
- Develop and maintain data documentation and standard operating procedures
- Motivate and instill accountability in other end-users
- Prepare reports for business leaders, compliance, and client service teams
- Collaborate with IT, operations, and sales teams on data-related initiatives and troubleshooting
- Support data migrations and assist in the onboarding/offboarding of systems and users
- Help implement improvements to data workflows and automate repetitive processes
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in a data administration, data management, or an operations support role
- Functional knowledge of Salesforce or another CRM platform
- Proficiency with databases and reporting tools preferred (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

Compensation:
BTIG offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Salary range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, years of applicable experience, skills, qualifications, licensure and certifications, and other business and organization needs. The current estimated base salary range for this role is $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year. Please note that certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus or overtime.
