About the Client Service Department

The goal of Client Service is to build and grow meaningful relationships with the world’s largest, most sophisticated investors and help clients achieve their goals through high quality return streams and tailored insights. To this end, we deeply understand the global pools of capital, develop strategies to effectively develop relationships, and partner with prospective clients on their most difficult investment and portfolio construction problems. We help our prospective clients broaden their understanding of our investment process, strategies and performance as well as deepen their understanding of financial markets more generally.

About the Role: 

The Digital Coordinator is a member of the newly formed team within Bridgewater’s Client Service department called the Content Lab, which is responsible for creating, harvesting, and strategically distributing all of Bridgewater’s external-facing content. This role will play a meaningful part in helping Bridgewater achieve its digital strategy, providing excellent day-to-day project and program management, and operationally supporting the Content Lab team. In close partnership with our content teams and stakeholders across the firm, the Digital Coordinator will manage all corporate content for Bridgewater on our digital platforms. This role is integral to the creation and implementation of Bridgewater’s brand in the digital marketplace. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media and dedicated to driving an external understanding of what makes Bridgewater unique. This role requires a highly organized person who can visualize projects, juggle multiple priorities seamlessly, while maintaining a high bar for the content produced. Successful candidates will thrive in fast-paced, results oriented, high-stakes environments and are excellent facilitators, communicators, and proactive partners.

You will drive the following responsibilities: 

  • Create and publish content across all our corporate digital platforms (Client and Public websites, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Act as a good thought partner to the creative and strategists on building, tracking, and synthesizing data and metrics.
  • Collaborate with Executives and business stakeholders to publish content and be a key input to the final product of our editorial layouts.
  • Manage and assist in the publishing to our executive social media channels.
  • Act as a key member of Content Lab team, providing leverage in support of the team’s goals and responsibilities through project management, operational, and coordination duties.
  • Drive execution, provide direction, and project manage initiatives across multiple stakeholders and departments.
  • Synchronize communication across the team, by tracking and reporting on status of key activities and keeping knowledge repositories up to date.
  • Anticipate and resolve problems efficiently and independently.  

We are looking for candidates with the following minimum qualifications:  

  • 2+ years of digital media experience in a coordination or project management-related role focused on digital media in an agency, financial services, or technology setting
  • Excellent understanding and experience in digital strategy
  • Highly organized and excellent attention to detail, can juggle multiple projects and priorities with a high level of efficiency 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience proofreading external and/or corporate internal content with a particular emphasis on creative writing
  • Flexible, able to anticipate and adapt to changes or rapidly evolving situations
  • Familiarity with Microsoft operating systems and/or tools (MS Office 365, Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint) 

Physical Requirements: The anticipated onsite requirement for this role is four days per week at our New York City campus.

Compensation: The wage range for this role is $110,000 - $150,000 inclusive of base salary and discretionary bonus. The expected base salary for this role is between 80-90% of this wage range.
