Professional Services Manager

The Professional Services Manager is responsible for leading a talented team of Project Managers and Technical Engineers in overseeing a portfolio of 60+ concurrent projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management and technical service delivery, ensuring the successful delivery of projects while driving profitability, resource utilization, and individual team performance.

Reporting directly to the VP of Professional Services, this role is pivotal in executing the executive leadership plan, managing customer satisfaction, and meeting team performance metrics.

As a key leader within the Professional Services team, this role will oversee project teams delivering a range of project types, including onboarding customers to the platform, data migrations, solution designs, Microsoft 365/Azure deployments, and custom consulting projects. This position ensures alignment with executive leadership to meet organizational objectives, driving consistent project governance and reporting across all project teams.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 10-15 Project Managers and Technical Engineers.
  • Oversee and manage a portfolio of 60+ concurrent projects, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
  • Drive performance metrics, including profitability, resource utilization, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish project scopes, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Develop and implement strategies for efficient resource allocation across multiple teams and projects.
  • Ensure projects adhere to organization governance, risk management, and compliance standards.
  • Provide regular portfolio performance reports to executive leadership, including revenue forecasts, project status updates, and team performance metrics.
  • Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
  • Manage customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and promote future business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align professional services with business goals.
  • Resolve escalations and challenges within projects to ensure customer and internal stakeholders' expectations are met.

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in project management or professional services, with 3+ years in a management role.
  • Experience managing technical teams in an IT Managed Service Provider or similar environment.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing a portfolio of complex IT projects, including Microsoft 365, Azure, data migrations, and custom consulting.
  • Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, cloud technologies, and related IT service solutions.

This a remote position with minimal travel.
