Position Summary: 

The Navy Client Relationship Executive (Business Development) is responsible for managing and expanding strategic client relationships across Navy logistics, supply chain, warehousing, sustainment, and modernization organizations, including NAVSUP, NAVAIR, NAVWAR, and NAVSEA. This role serves as the primary business development lead for identifying, developing, and growing opportunities aligned with Navy operational priorities related to logistics modernization, warehousing, transportation management, sustainment operations, enterprise technology, and mission readiness.

The position works closely with Navy stakeholders and internal delivery organizations to align company capabilities with customer mission requirements. This role supports growth through relationship management, opportunity identification, strategic planning, solution development, and coordination across technical and functional delivery teams.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Navy logistics, sustainment, warehousing, transportation, and technology stakeholders across NAVSUP, NAVAIR, NAVWAR, and NAVSEA.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer engagement related to supply chain modernization, warehouse operations, sustainment, transportation management, and enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Build trusted relationships with government leadership, operational users, program offices, and acquisition stakeholders.
  • Support customer discussions related to operational challenges, capability gaps, modernization priorities, and mission readiness objectives.

Business Development and Growth

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities supporting Navy logistics, sustainment, warehousing, transportation, and enterprise technology operations.
  • Develop growth strategies aligned with Navy modernization priorities and mission objectives.
  • Support capture planning, pipeline development, and opportunity shaping activities across multiple Navy organizations.
  • Collaborate with internal leadership to develop customer-aligned solutions and capability offerings.
  • Assist in development of whitepapers, capability briefings, operational demonstrations, technical approaches, and proposal responses.
  • Support contract growth within existing programs through identification of additional customer requirements and enhancement opportunities.

Strategic Solution Development

  • Coordinate with technical and functional delivery teams to align capabilities with customer operational needs.
  • Help shape integrated logistics, sustainment, transportation, warehouse management, enterprise technology, and modernization solutions.
  • Support workshops, demonstrations, and customer engagements showcasing company capabilities and operational value.
  • Align modernization initiatives with emerging technologies including SAP solutions, cloud capabilities, AI-enabled analytics, warehouse automation, and enterprise integration services.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner with sustainment managers, technical services managers, solution architects, and delivery teams to ensure alignment with customer expectations and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal business units to support business development, proposal preparation, and strategic planning activities.
  • Facilitate communication between customer stakeholders and technical delivery organizations.

Market and Operational Awareness

  • Maintain awareness of Navy logistics, warehousing, sustainment, transportation, and enterprise modernization initiatives across NAVSUP, NAVAIR, NAVWAR, and NAVSEA.
  • Monitor acquisition activities, operational priorities, and emerging technologies relevant to Navy mission support operations.
  • Provide leadership with strategic insight into customer priorities, operational risks, and future growth opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Logistics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of experience supporting Navy, DoD, or federal logistics, sustainment, supply chain, or enterprise technology environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in client relationship management, business development, capture management, or strategic growth activities.
  • Strong understanding of Navy logistics, warehousing, sustainment, transportation, and enterprise operational environments.
  • Experience coordinating with operational, technical, and acquisition stakeholders across complex organizations.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to identify and grow business opportunities within existing client environments.
  • Travel: Frequent travel may be required to support Navy client engagement and operational activities

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting NAVSUP, NAVAIR, NAVWAR, NAVSEA, Fleet Logistics Centers, warfare centers, or Navy sustainment organizations.
  • Familiarity with SAP logistics and sustainment solutions including EWM, TM, ERP, and enterprise modernization initiatives.
  • Experience supporting warehouse automation, transportation modernization, digital transformation, or enterprise integration efforts.
  • Existing relationships within Navy logistics, sustainment, or technology organizations.
  • Experience supporting government proposals, task orders, and capture activities.
  • Security Clearance eligibility.

Compensation: In accordance with pay transparency law, the expected salary range for this position is $171,130 – $220,000 annually. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This posted range reflects our good faith estimate of the compensation we reasonably expect to offer for this role at the time of posting.
