Senior Project Manager

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Leads and manages project teams to delivery high quality projects within the specified time and cost constraints.

Develops comprehensive project plans, manages resources and budgets, and ensures adherence to project timelines and milestones.

Maintains visibility to known project work leveraging documented tools, processes and procedures in appropriate Standard Operating Procedures, Playbooks, and Runbooks.

Develops and maintains productive working relationships with business leaders, project sponsors, business analysts, solution architects, vendors, and key clients.

Coordinates project activities, meetings, and resources to ensure smooth execution.

Manages the relationship with the customer, acting as the primary “face” of the project throughout the lifecycle.

Builds and motivates project teams, provides guidance and support to team members, and addresses performance issues.

Provides work direction and leadership to assigned projects, including scheduling, assignment of work, and review of project efforts.

Ensures successful go-live on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction.

Maintains consistent communication with the project team to ensure the scope of work is clear and that standard operating procedures are adhered to and auditable.

Ensures compliance with all accounting, human resources, training, and safety goals, as outlined by the Statement of Work and other C5MI policies.

Prepares and maintains project documentation, including reports, schedules, and presentations.

Provides customer guidance and support on Communications, Change Management, Training Strategy, and Testing Strategy.

Facilitates the gathering of information required to estimate project cost, resources, time, and deliverables.

Sets and maintains quality standards for project deliverables, ensuring compliance with best practices and industry standards.

Leverages financial acumen to estimate costs associated with the project, including physical, financial, and human capital costs.

Negotiates conflicts and resolves issues that arise on the project, acting as a mediator between stakeholders and team members throughout the project lifecycle.

Acts as a trusted advisor for the client.

Tracks and monitors progress, identifying potential issues or delays and proactively finding solutions.

Keeps senior leaders and stakeholders informed on the progress of the project, as well as any risks or deviations from the plan.

Ensure a smooth project closure process, including client acceptance, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Adheres to all certified processes as part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and information security, which includes actively participating in quality assurance activities and ensuring the protection of sensitive information in accordance with our security policies.

Minimum Requirements:
-
Must have Project Management certification (i.e., Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, other equivalent nationally recognized certification.)

Ten (10) years of project management or other relevant experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.

Ten (10) years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.

Bachelor’s degree in information technology related field with ten (10) years of relevant experience.

Must be willing to travel at least 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, mostly to New Cumberland PA
-
Must be able to obtain and maintain an active government clearance (requires U.S. citizenship).
Nice to Have:

Warehousing, logistics and/or supply chain PM experience

Prior government/federal PM experience
Compensation: In accordance with pay transparency law, the expected salary range for this position is $125,000 – $140,000 annually. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This posted range reflects our good faith estimate of the compensation we reasonably expect to offer for this role at the time of posting.
