The CAIS Capital Markets team sits at the forefront of the firm’s structured investments offering. Through this platform, financial advisors gain access to structured notes, bank issuer offerings, curated bespoke strategies, and full lifecycle trade execution support. The team bridges the gap between advisors and capital markets, simplifying complex structured products into actionable portfolio solutions.

We are seeking a highly motivated Associate to join the team and partner with senior leaders in covering clients across the division, with an anticipated focus on the South-Central territory. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong interest in capital markets, structured products, and advisor-centric financial innovation. You will collaborate closely with senior Product Specialists to support new business development, provide operational and analytical support, and help advance the education and engagement of advisors using structured notes.


Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior Product Specialists to develop and execute a regional business plan to grow structured notes penetration across the South-Central territory.
  • Prepare materials for client meetings and internal strategy sessions, including product comparisons, performance illustrations, and issuer offering summaries.Support the development and refinement of educational resources for financial advisors on structured investment applications.
  • Track trade activity, calendar offerings, and advisor engagement using CRM tools such as Salesforce and Airtable.
  • Assist in the coordination and delivery of trade execution support, in partnership with issuers and internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze structured note terms and lifecycle considerations, helping the team tailor recommendations to advisor-specific objectives.
  • Collaborate across internal functions—including Operations, Marketing, Compliance, and Technology—to ensure a seamless advisor experience.
  • Contribute to special projects and team initiatives that promote innovation, scale, and advisor value.

 
Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in financial services; backgrounds in wealth management, capital markets, structured products, or advisory support are all considered.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with investment concepts, particularly equity and fixed income instruments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems such as Salesforce and tools like Microsoft Excel.
  • Series 7 and 63/66 licenses (or willingness to obtain shortly after hire).
  • Interest in structured investments and capital markets product design. Prior exposure is a plus but not required.
  • A proactive, curious mindset with a client-first attitude and a commitment to continuous learning.

CAIS’ compensation package includes a market competitive salary, a performance bonus, and exceptional benefits. If you are located in New York, NY the base salary range for this role is $110,000 - $140,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
