Global VP Marketing

Wilton, Connecticut

For more than 50 years, Cannondale has been a leading innovator in the cycling world.  As more riders of all ages and abilities get on the roads, trails, and streets than ever before, we're here to do the best work of our lives to push the greatest human-powered machine into the future each and every day. We're committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce where every teammate can succeed as we inspire riders everywhere. Fueled by a free-thinking, always-game, got-your-back mentality, we ditched the rulebook and set forward on a path to make iconic bikes that simply work better. We look forward to the ride with you.

About the Role:

As our Global VP of Marketing, you will be the storyteller and architect behind how the world sees and feels about our brand. You will lead the charge in shaping and executing our long-term marketing strategy across all product categories, driving how we introduce groundbreaking products and ensuring our brand voice remains authentic and unmistakable. Partnering closely with Marketing, Product, and Commercial teams, you’ll turn product launches into brand-building moments while ensuring and maintaining a consistently high-quality share of voice in the areas where we play.

As a key member of the Marketing Leadership team, you’ll collaborate with the CMO to build and refine processes, foster creativity, and contribute to the long-term vision that propels Cannondale into the future of cycling innovation. This role matters because it’s not just about marketing--it’s about delivering on our promise to enable the future of cycling for the world.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Execute on the marketing strategy by working with the CMO to cascade goals throughout the team. Create a plan to drive execution of campaigns and initiatives, rooted in deep understanding of brand strategy framework
  • Assign the priorities for your team and build the annual budget to support our strategic goals
  • Manage the growth, development, and strategy for the Brand Marketing, Creative Services, Events and GTM teams while partnering closely with Digital, Sports Marketing, and Brand Identity leaders
  • Deploy strategy to all departments and regions. Solicit feedback and deliver keynote presentations to gain universal buy-in, synchronizing our product, marketing, and commercial interests
  • Elevate performance of our tools, assets, and content with the goal of engaging a wider audience while improving ROI
  • Define, track, and act on KPIs to quantify impact and improve on strategy. Evaluate progress towards goals, identify new opportunities, and avoid ineffective activities
  • Communicate progress to key stakeholders on a regular basis, from weekly leadership updates to monthly performance bulletins to annual reviews
  • Uphold our brand standards and ensure guidelines are adhered to. Have an aesthetic sensibility, know what (really) good looks like and ensure we’re achieving it
  • Unite a multi-disciplinary team by leading a strong culture of collaboration and communication amongst peers and partners
  • Be a credible voice of the brand, business, and rider. Know instinctively when a project/concept/idea can succeed, when it can’t, and where it should be improved
  • Champion and encourage a positive working environment and effective teamwork in line with the Company’s values, behaviors and culture

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in multi-national brand marketing, preferably outside of the cycling industry, such as CPG, automotive, or consumer electronics
