About the Role:
Come Ride With Us in our Wilton, CT HQ as our new HR Business Partner. Reporting into our Global HR Senior Manager, you’ll play a critical role in aligning people strategies with business goals and empowering our teams to perform at their best. You’ll partner closely with teams based in North America to address workforce challenges, drive organizational development, and provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance, and team effectiveness. You’ll also collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure alignment with our broader business strategy. You’ll be a key player in further developing our diverse, inclusive culture and help support a strong sense of connection and purpose across teams. How You'll Make an Impact:
- Support business leaders on a variety of HR needs, including policies and processes, performance management, talent development, and other needs as identified by the business
- Work with (international) business leaders to develop and implement HR programs and initiatives to achieve functional and operational HR alignment
- Facilitate problem solving and conflict resolution on a wide variety of issues and escalates for additional support as needed. Recommend and implement solutions to achieve fair and equitable results
- Ensure management is aware of Company policies and guidelines, as well as local laws and regulations, when making decisions that impact team members
- Manage local HR Generalist, providing opportunities for growth and development within the global HRBP team
- Consult with managers and senior level HR to review/develop compensation recommendations and identify potential problems
- Support HR leadership and relevant client groups with staffing changes as needed, including confidential preparations and communications
- Coordinate closely with Global HR colleagues to ensure consistency and continuity in human resources programs and processes. Responsible for contributing to the overall establishment of human resources objectives and strategies as needed
- Collaborate with the global TA team to attract the best talent for Cannondale
- Create positive employee experiences and implement activities that support an inspiring and inclusive office culture, where passion for biking is a core element
- Responsible for maintaining all relevant personnel data
- Function as a confidant for team members
- Responsible for managing the talent management framework for the teams you support, encompassing key elements such as performance management, learning and development, and the annual merit review process, including talent calibrations
What You Bring to the Table:
- Self-starter, service-minded attitude, and business partner approach
- Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors
- Methodical and well-organized approach to work, ability to prioritize, work accurately, keen eye for details
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or relevant work experience
- 4-6 years’ related work experience, with proven ability to handle complex employee issues
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment laws in the US and preferably Canada
- Ability to approach situations with empathy and pragmatism
- Able to stay cool under pressure
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Passion for cycling/outdoor sports is a plus
