Role Description:

Key Skills: Production Support - Networking (ftp, ssh, telnet) + Nagios + SQL + Unix + Scripting

Exp: 6+yrs

Location: Bengaluru

3 days WFO (Tues, Wed, Thurs)

Shifts (2PM- 11PM AND 6:30AM-3:30PM)

 

Role Description

  • Provide Level 2/3 application production support for in scope data related applications. • Investigate and resolve production issues including feed/connectivity issues. • Work on service requests using the Incident / Service management workflow, raised by business users and provide resolution. • Work along with onshore support team to manage batch support of jobs feeding in data and delivering data to consumers • Act as first point of contact for support teams for any clarifications related to business flow • Analysis and documentation of business requirements • Ensure performance efficiencies and bottlenecks addressed as part of monitoring • Receive handover from business at close of trading day for overnight batch run and support • Maintain and support environment for different databases and applications in scope • Liaise with other IT team for downstream and upstream application for required support, testing for issues dependent on them
  • MSSQL • Linux • Windows (Admin level knowledge) • Networking (ftp, ssh, telnet, etc) • Monitoring tools (Nagios)
  • Understanding of ITIL Practices - Incident, Problem, Change Management, Problem Management, and Event Management • Exposure as "level 2/ Level 3" resource • Worked on JIRA/Confluence. • Knowledge of Capital Markets and Trading • Basic knowledge on Investment Banking.
  • Should possess excellent communication skills with a high level of client interfacing • Should be able to work multiple items with competing priorities at the same time • Should possess excellent analytical skills • Exposure of working with global clients and multi-cultural teams
