Role Description
The Transformation Risk Governance (TRG) Consultant will support the firm’s governance, risk assessment, and oversight of Transformation initiatives, including User‑Led Solutions and emerging AI solutions. The role focuses on execution of core BAU governance activities, remediation of legacy risk populations, stakeholder coordination, and delivery of high‑quality management information and audit‑ready documentation.
The consultant will work closely with Operations, Technology, Risk, and Control partners to ensure adherence to TRG policy, timely closure of actions, and effective risk outcomes across the transformation lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute end‑to‑end Transformation Risk Governance activities, including intake triage, risk classification, remediation of Not Rated / Moderate / High risks, lifecycle tracking, attestations, and preparation of audit‑ and review‑ready evidence in line with TRG policy.
- Drive effective stakeholder engagement and coordination, acting as the primary liaison with Process Owners, Collaborators, Technology, Operations, and Risk partners to progress actions, resolve issues, facilitate reviews, and support TRG mailbox and working sessions.
- Deliver high‑quality reporting and management information, including weekly/monthly MI, action trackers, dashboards, trend and thematic analysis, and concise senior‑management (ED/MD) updates to enable oversight and decision‑making.
- Support TRG policy, procedures, and operating model, maintaining process documentation and guidance, identifying policy gaps from real‑case application, supporting control rationalisation, training materials, and governance of new initiatives including AI solutions.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in risk management, governance, controls, operations risk, audit, or transformation environments.
- Proven ability to manage high‑volume workflows, remediation actions, and stakeholder dependencies.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience preparing evidence packs for audits, risk reviews, or management challenge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and collaboration tools.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with User‑Led Solutions, automation governance, or transformation risk frameworks.
- Exposure to AI or advanced analytics governance concepts.
- Familiarity with JIRA, workflow tools, or MI/dashboarding platforms (e.g., Power BI).
- Prior experience in a global financial services environment.
