Change Adoption Leader / Operational Technology (OT) SME (She/He/They)
CAPCO POLAND
We are looking for a Poland-based candidate.
At Capco Poland, we're not just another consultancy – we're the spark behind digital transformation in the financial world. As a global leader in technology and management consulting, we help clients tackle complex challenges across banking, payments, capital markets, wealth, and asset management.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Change Adoption Leader / Operational Technology (OT) SME to support a major transformation programme within a global banking environment.
In this role, you will drive the adoption of Operational Technology (OT) capabilities and lead change management activities required to embed a new Target Operating Model (TOM) across multiple locations and stakeholder groups. You will work closely with senior business and technology leaders to ensure successful transformation delivery, stakeholder engagement, and operational readiness.
While OT expertise is desirable, we are also open to candidates with strong experience leading large-scale IT transformation and change initiatives.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Core mission of the role
- Ensure the target OT operating model (governance, processes, tools, roles) is adopted and sustained across all buildings in scope, not just designed on paper.
- Act as change manager between owners, Facility Management Services providers, integrators, and tenants, coordinating behavior, processes, and technology changes in line with the new model.
OT and building technology expertise
- Strong understanding of modern building OT domains: BMS/HVAC, lighting control, access control, CCTV/VMS, elevator systems, energy management, submeters, preferably with experience in multi-building campuses or portfolios.
- Familiarity with typical OT architectures in buildings (segmentation, DMZ, VPN/remote access, vendor connectivity, on‑prem vs cloud BMS, data integration with IWMS/CAFМ and enterprise systems).
- Working knowledge of OT/ICS security principles and relevant standards (e.g., IEC 62443-inspired zoning and conduits, network segmentation, least privilege, patch and remote access controls) as applied to real estate portfolios.
Change management competencies
- Proven experience delivering organizational change initiatives: understanding change impacts, stakeholder analysis, and developing change strategies aligned to an operating model.
- Capability to design and execute change plans (communications, training, resistance management, adoption metrics) so building engineers, FM staff, and service providers adopt new processes and tools.
Operating model implementation skills
- Experience translating target operating models into practical role descriptions, RACI matrices, governance forums, KPIs, and standard operating procedures for operations teams.
- Ability to coordinate pilots in selected buildings, capture lessons learned, and industrialize them into portfolio-wide standards and playbooks.
Stakeholder and ecosystem management
- Experience working with multi-party ecosystems: landlords, tenants, property managers, FM outsourcers, OEMs/integrators, cyber teams, and IT infrastructure teams.
- Skill in aligning senior sponsors and local building managers around shared objectives (e.g., uptime, safety, energy, security), resolving conflicts between local practices and enterprise standards.
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a flexible collaboration model based on a B2B contract, with the opportunity to work on strategic transformation programmes for leading financial institutions.
